He then asked if he could try something and guess what he got my dishwasher in with no cutting that the other guy said I had to do. Terry and Dave are the best. Thank you"

"Victor did take off the ugly Plexiglas and install a nice thick new window. For that part of the job I give him an A. The rest was unsatisfactory. He had to fill about a dozen screw holes where the Plexiglas had been attached. Many of the holes are still there - he didn't use enough filler to allow for it to shrink when it dries. He also smeared filler all around the window, instead of just where the holes were, and said I could just wipe it off when it dried. It doesn't wipe off - I'll have to scrub it, then sand and restain the whole area instead of just the holes. It turned out he didn't have any weatherstripping with him, so I'll have to do that myself or hire someone else. He arrived a little late, took measurements, then left for "a couple of hours," presumably to get supplies, but he was gone for a long time and I had to revise my plans for the afternoon. He also left a mess on the floor. Nice guy, but disorganized and maybe not as skilled as he should be."

We originally hired them to redo 2 bathrooms - then, after a different company backed out of our HVAC installation right before the winter, Bay State came to the rescue and did a wonderful job with the remodeling required for that, too. We decided to expand the scope of our home remodel (to include a kitchen remodel, opening up the floorplan, etc.) because we were so impressed with the quality of their work, and we are very happy with the results. It was a pleasure working with Marcio, Andreina, David, Marcus, Mr. Fixit, Dayna, and everyone else involved in the project. We are so glad we went with Bay State - they are professional, detail-oriented, trustworthy, and committed to quality. Also, they know how to make things look really good!"

"I needed my chimney rebuilt, and they did a beautiful job. Everything was clearly explained beforehand, with an eye on keeping costs under control while not compromising the necessary quality of the job. I was made aware of possible unforeseen complications that could arise once the work started, but none of these happened and there were no additions or overages to the price quoted. Once the work began they finished promptly on schedule and cleaned up as soon as possible. The owner, Loiue Ranieri, is terrific guy, friendly and easy to work with. In fact, he kindly did a couple of minor non-chimney house repairs for me at no cost. We’d been referred to Ranieri by a carpenter who’d recommended them, and we’re very glad he did. I give them my highest rating."
