"I was happy with the cost for bleaching my roof and painting my house but there were a couple of issues with the painting we were not happy with. The hurricane shutters were supposed to be closed and painted. instead, they were open when painted so now when they are closed they are half white half tan and they did not do a good job prepping the house for painting. The old paint at the bottom was not scraped off just painted over so it has big flakes in it. Luis called a couple of days later to see if we were pleased and I explained the problem and sent him pictures. He said he would send someone over to fix them. That was a month ago. My husband has said to forget it he will do it himself. It is a shame because we are trying to give small businesses work and we had 2 more projects to be done but will have to go with a large more reputable company."

We finally bought our home in the area of Coral Gables. It’s a property of 2000 sqf more or less that features hardwood floors everywhere. We were very impressed with Martinez Wood Floors’ website and the pictures of jobs they have done before, so of course they were the ones we wanted to work in our house. We sent them a message and they replied right away asking for more information about the floors and a phone number to arrange a visit. They came on time and previously called to let us know that they were on their way. Properly dress and with vast knowledge they measure the house and explained everything that needed to be done to repair and leave those floors looking like new. We liked the energy and the level of compromise they put in their work. We did not have to look anywhere else, they were the ones we were looking for. The other important factor was the price; we did not want to go cheap but we also did not want to invest a fortune on the floors. Right on the spot, their prices are very good. They sent us the estimate that same day via email, very sophisticated and explaining everything the customer needs to know. We went ahead and booked them. They arrived at the time we had scheduled with all the tools to do the job. They repaired and sanded the floors at an incredible speed. Everything was very professional and they made sure we liked what they were doing. The owner closely supervised the job. When the floors were ready to be stained, they did some samples for us to choose the color we liked. They did an amazing job! When we got back to the house to review everything, we were flipped by the way the floors looked. All perfect like brand new. They are skilled craftsmen and pay attention to details. After we had paid them everything, we decided to change the baseboards in the house and we had no idea where to choose from, so we called Mr. Martinez to ask him for suggestions. The next day, he brought several samples of baseboards and helped us make the choice. They installed all the baseboards in the house and the cuts were perfect. They have a vast experience on hardwood floors and know what the customer wants and expects from them. We are very happy with them."

"Purchased coupon on August 11, 2011.  Because I was remodeling my kitchen myself after work and weekends, I didn't have time to deal with the creating the room drafts, plans, layouts or measurements she required.  I did contact Jill and explain the situation and she was very understanding.  She said because I contacted her, not to worry about the deadline.  I remained in contact with her over the next few years (that's how long it took me) and when I was ready around the start of 2014, she worked hard to provide her new design.

"Casework Specialties         remodeled my kitchen last year and my   home office about 6 months ago. I would not have used them twice had I   not been  more than satisfied. I would give them straight A's in terms of service,reliability and finished product.
Casework Specialties and other  participating  companies need to be aware that Angie's List badgers it's subscribing members until they respond.
Apparently it doesn't matter whether or not work product has actually  been provided as witnessed by your published reviews when no work has been  done. How does this help a consumer in search of the best company for a particular product or service? Angie's List has an obligation to do  right by  it's members. You have not done right by Casework Specialties by  publishing reviews from people who were never customers in the first   place. And you have not  done right by subscribers looking for reviews of good providers of   quality products not just companies that send out slick sales people   that say what we want to hear but deliver an inferior product.
Casework  Specialties has met or exceeded my expectations with their quality custom cabinetry and  based on your legitimate reviews has done the same for  others who have actually contracted with them.  But one would never know  this by reading spitefully critical reviews from people who were never customers.  
Good woodwork is not inexpensive and good designers are not slick  sales people . At the end of the day , what matters is the product ,
not the pitch . Angie's List would do well to remember that.
