"Dillion was prompt, friendly, and honest with estimates. He provided an itemized Bill of Materials that he updated as the project progressed and to support changes that I requested. Their estimates were in range with my own estimates for the region. Dillion, B.J., and Brandon are professional, hard working, a pleasure to be around, and I would hire them again."

"Overall, the process from beginning to end went very well. They responded to my query quickly, set up a site visit, and sent the proposal over in a very reasonable time. Communication was timely and professional. While on our property, they were respectful and was working from the first moment with only a short lunch. When I had questions, they were answered. When we chatted, they were polite and clear. The job was done exactly as we had discussed and I am very happy with my new arena base. I will use them again in a heartbeat if I need this type of work again. Now, a note for the ladies as well as the scum that give us bogus quotes on work so you can get rich off us "ignorant women"... So, I recommend that anyone, man or woman, get at least three estimates especially on work that is going to be a big hit to the bank. It is just smart. Do your research on reviews, word of mouth, BBB ratings, etc. The most expensive doesn't mean the best. The cheapest isn't usually the best option for quality. I got my three plus estimates and I want to share some of my findings. While trying to work through my options, one estimate was from a very professional seeming company. That estimate was high enough that I would not have been able to afford it. The second was from Dynamis and it honestly seemed suspiciously low especially compared to the other quote. The third was actually recommended by a friend and I put a lot of weight on word of mouth recommendations. When that gentleman called me with his estimate, it was the same as the other highest quote and he even went as far to say that it would take him three days to do it. There was the clue that these two were attempting to take advantage of "that idiot woman". I do not have the years of experience to be able to do this exact work, but I have seen professionals do this type of work and there is no way this job would take three days of work. That was the clue that estimate #3 was totally trying to rip me off. Since it mirrored the estimate #1, it made me feel like they also were trying to pull off the same thing. After doing the research, I chose to go with Dynamis. Obviously, I was happy with my choice and I can tell you that their quote was six times lower than the other two estimates mentioned in this review. Six... times.... AND they got the work done in nine hours, not three days."

"Prior owners of the house had had extensive work done on the foundation, but we still had very undeven floors and problems with it. They realized the pillars that had been put in prior were on top of cinder blocks and were shifting at different times. They removed all of them and replaced them by drilling down and concreting in new ones. Ours floors are much better, but of course we have cracks over doors etc which is to be expected. They were very professional and easy to work with. They arrived on time every day while they did the work. <br />I would definitely use them again and would recommend them. <br />"

"This started about 2 weeks before Christmas. Our first step was with our sales reps.. Ben and Lori, an amazing helpful team, who listened to all of our wants and our price range. After completing our wish list, Ben and Lori took me thru their stock room to select the granite that I wanted. Although there samples (full sized sheets of granite) were extensive, I still was not finding exactly what I wanted. They then gave me the name of 2 of there suppliers, to give me an even larger amount to choose from. Then we found the perfect slabs. <br /> I had someone at my home to measure and template my kitchen, within 48 hours. Once the templates were done, they had the pieces cut out in two days and were ready to install. Within the same week, we were scheduled for a full installation. We did not only want our counters done, we also wanted a full wall back splash done. <br /> Understandably, that would take more time to complete. But, knowing that the holidays were within days, My installation crew Francesco and Orlando ( two of the greatest craftsman I have ever dealt with), got the entire kitchen done, in the same day. Including the full wall back splash. They worked with so much attention to detail, you would think this was their own home that they were installing in. <br /> At one point I did misunderstood a question that Francesco asked of me, and that caused an area of granite, not to be installed. I explained to Francesco that I did misunderstand him, and he scheduled a date to come back and add the piece where I wanted it. Our kitchen was fully completed right after Christmas Day. And is beautiful. <br /> We plan on haveing all of our bathrooms redone, and will only consider Granie and Marble Warehouse to do the job. We felt that everyone there wanted us to be completely satisfied with our kitchen and their work. We could not be any happier. They provided great value and service, Their teams are all friendly, warm professional and eager to please. From Juan the owner to the crews that did all of the various steps and even cleaned up the kitchen when done. We thank you and are looking forward to working with you again. We highly recommend Granite and Marble Warehouse to any one considering having work done. <br />"

"They were very easy to deal with, great selection of different styles and colors. I was told they have the best seams too so that's another reason why I used them and they do. Crew installing was very professional. The only drawback was they are about 5-6 weeks out but they are worth it. I'm happy. Will use them again in the future."

FAQs for gravel or loose fill paving install, spread or scrape projects in Oneida, TN

To calculate how much pea gravel you need for your project, multiply the length, width, and depth of the area you want to cover to find the volume in cubic feet. Then, divide that number by 27 to convert it to cubic yards to determine the amount of pea gravel you need.

A yard of pea gravel weighs about 1.3 tons or 2,600 pounds. Keep in mind that wet gravel weighs more than dry, and different types of gravel can vary in weight. For example, due to its density, river rock weighs significantly more than crushed stone and pea gravel.

The ideal depth for pea gravel depends on the type and size of your project. You'll need at least two to three inches for walkways and patios and a minimum of six inches for driveways to support heavy vehicles and prevent shifting over time. Aim for a depth of three to four inches in decorative garden beds or drainage areas.

Pea gravel is attractive, versatile, and low-maintenance. It provides excellent drainage, making it ideal for pathways, driveways, and garden beds. On the downside, its sharp texture isn't ideal for bare feet, and it can be challenging to weed or remove once installed. It can also shift underfoot without proper edging, creating an uneven surface.

Alternative landscaping materials you can use instead of pea gravel include wood chips, decomposed granite, crushed stone, pebbles, quartz, mulch, sand, and river rock. These materials offer different aesthetics, performance, and costs, so it’s important to do your research to determine which one best fits your landscape design and budget.

Many homeowners choose pea gravel because it requires minimal upkeep compared to other landscaping materials. You'll need to rake it occasionally to redistribute the stones and maintain an even surface. Pros also recommend installing weed barrier fabric beneath the gravel to prevent unwanted growth, although some weeds may still appear over time.
