"Being new to the North West, we relied on the contractor to make recommendations regarding the work to be done. Surprisingly, they said our A/C and furnace were OK. I had them replace they A/C system anyway because it was old. They told me that whole house fans were not used in this location and suggested that we could cheaply add an outside air intake to our existing system, which they did. They were thorough and professional. We were very satisfied with the product and the service."

"Excellent service with same day response to a water heater outage. All points of contact were outstanding starting with initial phone call and giving and estimate of time of arrival as well as 15 minute warning call that Johnny was arriving. Johnny was friendly, knowledgeable, and presented numerous options for fixing or replacing the 10 year old heater. When I opted to replace it he was able to get it delivered right to the house while he was draining and disconnecting the old heater. Start to finish was about 3 hours. I highly recommend 3 Mountains Plumbing because of the excellent communication, response time and service."

"When our air-conditioning unit stopped working during a heatwave, Jason came to our aid very quickly. The unit was over 20 years old and we knew it was on its last legs, though, it had miraculously to stay working since Jason fixed it 7 years prior (and saved our wedding!). As we expected, we needed a new unit and decided to also replace the furnace. Jason was able to schedule the replacements within a quick time frame, and he worked thoroughly and diligently to ensure that our new units were installed with the utmost care. He was very clean and conscientious, and we found him to be both honest and personable. We will continue to use Jason for all of our HVAC needs and highly recommend him to others."

"They did a great job! I enjoyed speaking with Andrea at the office, she got me scheduled fairly quickly. David came out on time and was able to get my furnace installed. I am very pleased with reaching out to them. Would recommend others to use them."

"Great, they inspected the Gas Furnace and my A/C unit. I was satisfied with the service and was it reasonably priced. I First called them due to my A/C condenser leaking and they blew out the line. I did however had to call them back as my drain line started leaking again, They had to crawl in my crawl space and found the problem. At some point when the new water lines were installed they have removed my pipe hanger from the drain line for the A/C which caused the drain line to sag and would not allow the water to flow as freely as it should. The technician fixed it and made sure that the drain was free flowing. Anderson Heating and Cooling only charged me for the service call which was fair. They did come back out to replace my gas control valve and was even about $60.00 less then the quote given me due to not needing a extra part. So yes, they are honest as well. I would not look for anyone else to service my furnace or A/C unit. Thank you"

"We just moved into our house and realized there was a heating oil leak in our basement at the shut-off valve.  We've never had heating oil before so I wasn't sure who to call, but the other people on the list I called could not get out for a day or so and I wasn't sure how dangerous it was, so I wanted someone to come take a look as soon as possible. Mr. Nash had good reviews and when I called they seemed to know exactly what I was talking about.  They were able to put us on the list of service stops that morning and the repairman called right before he arrived to let me know he was on his way.

He fixed the immediate problem by sealing up the old  faucet in the open position and made some recommendations on what we should do to get a working shut-off installed, as well as explained why this probably happened. And he put down some powder to absorb the oil on the basement floor.

I was very pleased with the immediate results and they repairman was very pleasant.  "

FAQs for window a/c unit service or relocation projects in Oregon City, OR

If your window air conditioner is relatively new or of high quality, repairing it can restore optimal performance and protect your investment. However, for older units or those with ongoing issues, it might be more cost-effective to replace the unit to ensure long-term efficiency and reliability. Consider the unit's age, the severity of the problem, repair costs versus replacement, and energy efficiency ratings when making your decision. If repairs cost more than half the price of a new unit, replacement is typically the better option.

Window air conditioners last eight to ten years on average. After this time, you may notice decreased efficiency and component wear. Replacing an older unit can improve energy savings and provide updated features like remote controls and better overall performance. With proper maintenance including regular filter cleaning, coil checks, and professional servicing, you can maximize your unit's lifespan.

If your portable AC isn't cooling, it might have a refrigerant leak or a circuit malfunction that's preventing it from working properly. It's best to contact a local air conditioner contractor to inspect and repair the unit. If your AC is older and repairs don't fix the issue, replacing it might be the most effective solution.

Removing a wall-mounted AC costs $55 to $75. Completing the removal yourself at the end of each summer season, being sure to do so according to proper guidelines, keeps you within this cost range. Should you require professional assistance for removal and disposal, if you can't move the unit yourself, expect an added fee of $25 to $50 to the overall cost.
