"ETD Electrical Services really helped us out in a pinch. We are in the process of opening a Chiropractic office and needed extra power run to our x-ray unit with its own disconnect. The previous electrician fell through last minute which left us without power on the day that the x-ray unit was delivered and set to be installed. We reached out to anyone and everyone to try to find a new electrician and ETD showed up in a big way. The owner of the company was able to come over the same day to give a quote and managed to fit us in the very next day to get the work done. He had two of his staff come over at 5pm and even showed up himself to oversee the work and make sure it was done correctly. They did not leave our office until about 10pm and managed to get all of the work done. I cannot thank them enough for their responsiveness and ability to accommodate us last minute into their busy schedule. We will definitley be using ETD for our future electrical needs!"

"I hired Bailey s Power and Light to run a crucial new circuit for a waste pump for my new septic system. This entailed adding a circuit to my panel and fishing a new wire run completely across the width of my home (in an incredibly difficult to access attic space). "The outlet that was installed behind the flat screen tv was accidentally (without my knowledge or request) connected to a light switch. This error was not discovered immediately and only after extended periods of cable and television issues did I learn about it. Meanwhile the accent lights were connected to the same switch as all of the existing adjacent ceiling lights (although the electrician and I specifically discussed the need to be able to control them separately for the purpose of "accentuating" the art without the spotlights being diffused by the existing ceiling lights. In my rush to leave town for a scheduled trip, I didn't double check the work but when I returned, I contacted the company and explained the problems. The original electrician was no longer employed by Bolt but multiple others came to my home, acknowledged the issues and agreed to make them "right". I was also told there would be no additional charge to fix these errors. They couldn't figure out how to properly disconnect the light switch from the tv so I agreed they could tie off the wires behind switch plate and essentially make a "dummy switch". With the tv issue "fixed the best they could" and with the commitment made to now fix the accent light problem, I moved forward with the installation of the fans and was rightfully charged a fair amount for this "incremental" work. But once I paid for the fan installation I was told that the accent light issue would not be corrected... unless I paid additional money and the once-friendly work team just walked away. They told me the owner would call but he didn't. I left multiple messages and finally was told that the owner (Patrick) was aware of my issue but had stated that I received accent lights according to their documents and he would not be calling me back. The company denied that I had any conversation about separate switches for the accent lights (even though its own electricians agreed the work was done improperly) and pretty much told me to pound sand. It would have been nice (not to mention appropriate) for the owner to at least return my call. I won't do business with Bolt again."

"I hired this company to put in a generator after seeing their commercials on TV, and seeing all the high reviews online. I can say that my experience has been horrible. First off, the permitting process took months, just to get the approval to install the generator. After the install, city permitting workers came out countless times sighting issues that needed to be resolved that seemingly didn’t get resolved because they’d get flagged again for the same issues. The biggest being they installed the generator too close to the natural gas line, which caused them to move the generator over about 18 inches and needing to install a giant junction box on the outside wall of my house. Not a great look. During the install and clearing permits, it’s almost impossible to get ahold of anyone to get a status update. I’d call and leave messages, email – repeatedly – before I’d finally get someone to reply. Fast forward a year, I discovered they installed one of the junction boxes incorrectly to my pool heater, causing it to fill up with water… so another repair. Now after the first year they hit you with a $600 per year contract to continue to monitor the generator for issues. Even after I signed it, I still get an email asking me to sign up every couple of weeks.. I’ve responded a dozen times telling them I’ve signed up for the monitoring program and to stop emailing me. Now the icing on the cake. I’m paying $600 a year for them to 'monitor' for problems. Today we lost power and the generator didn’t turn on. Looked at my mobile app, and it shows the cell signal used to monitor the generator isn’t working. I open the generator and the control panel that runs the entire system is blank and not working. Obviously a major problem… and isn’t that why I’m paying $600 a year for Reliable to monitor for problems and fix them before they cause an issue? This monitoring program is a scam. If they were actually monitoring the system they would've seen that my generator didn't exercise on Monday as scheduled, and that I've been offline over a week! Calling to ask that question just got me on the line with some low level customer service person, who can’t do anything but set an appointment a week from now. If you’re going to install a generator, look elsewhere."
