He did not pressure me to make any decision and let me think about what would be the best given my situation. The next day I decided to instead of replacing a part on a 30 year old water tank, but to replace with a new water tank. Fernando brought me a new water tank very quickly, took out the old tank, had to secure safety straps into concrete wall, adjust the height of the tank stand, and all the to code add-ons expansion tank, water shut off value, better copper joint etc. He worked really long hours to get everything installed perfectly. Fernando even let me know he was hearing extra water flow that was usually, and he was correct. My main water line pipe had leaked in my front yard. Fantastic Service. Well, how about a follow up call from the owner/manager, Ron Smiley, insuring the job was done to satisfaction and then going on to explain a whole host of extraordinary plumbing services that I was not aware of. Like being to do lateral sewer connections, including trenchless sewer line repairs, anything to do with water pumps, and commercial plumbing services. Ron is a smart business man that understands the value of long term relationships."

"They were able to take care of my issue. The price they quoted me was fair this time. They come out right away. They get a guy out there very quickly. They have parts on their truck. They charge you a service call fee. Sometimes it might take them 10 minutes to figure out what's wrong, but they charge you the full service call, and then they start the timer again when they do the repairs. They might be there for an hour, but they charge you $150 or whatever for services, and the parts off the truck are astronomically high priced.  <br /> <br /> When I complained before, I looked the part up online after I had paid $140 for it, and I could get it off of there for $14. When I got the heat pump done, which was a bigger job, they treated me very fairly. They gave me a better price than the other guys in town. They do quality work and I can't complain about their work. Compared to another company that came out and was diagnosing my problem, they spent an hour and 15 minutes diagnosing it. I got charged about the same money.  <br /> <br /> It's probably okay. You just have to pay for the fact that the guy has the part on the truck, they can fix it that day usually if it's a simple fix. This time, my compressor was out.  <br /> <br /> They did a good job. I can't complain about it. They did what they said they were going to do. They charged me what they quoted me. They did quality work. Last time they frustrated me, but this time they did good. <br /> <br /> The technicians are very qualified and knew what they were doing. They have a lot of experience. They were kind of the last guys I went to and they were able to pull it off.  <br /> <br /> They actually beat another quote by several hundred dollars. The price was not unreasonable. They called and they were very proactive about trying to get the part here. It was ordered and delayed, and it wasn't their fault. The gal in the office was very proactive about trying to get them moving and actually showing that they cared. I called her back afterwards and thanked her for it because she made me feel like she actually cared, compared to other people that make you feel like a number. They were very responsive and came out right after I called them. Other than the part being delayed, they were there on time. It's hot here, and as long as I have air conditioning, I am happy. "The first thing to know about Beacon, is that they are an emergency plumbing service, not a normal plumber. In exchange for them being available for same day or next day service, their rates are extremely high, to the point of mind boggling. Buyer beware. My neighbor, an elderly woman with limited English had Beacon replace the main water line to her house a few years ago. The charge for this was $7000 which seems excessive, but is not part of this review. Over the summer, the neighbor's water bill indicated that there was a leak. Beacon had provided a 15 year warranty on her installation, and so she called Beacon. The tech who came told her that it was not from their installation, and wanted $500 to check the plumbing in her crawlspace for leaks and another $600 to fix the leak. She told them to leave and they charged her $100. Given the amount of her water bill, and the fact that you could see the water flowing in the shut off valve "box", it was pretty obvious that the leak was not from her plumbing or her entire crawlspace would be under water. Note that the neighbor says that the tech told her it was the Pex line until she told him she had a warranty, at which time the story changed to the issue being her plumbing and not the Pex line. I went into her crawlspace, and in about 10 minutes, checked her plumbing for leaks and wiggled the Pex line coming into the crawlspace. Wiggling the line caused water to bubble up around the hole where the Pex entered her crawl space. Pretty obviously an issue with the Pex. I called Beacon and spoke to Kassen. He was very professional. He did note that Beacon does not give 15 year warranties, but since the tech who wrote up the bill had provided one, they honored it. Within a day of calling, Kassen sent a new tech who came out, diagnosed the problem, dug up the broken line and replaced it, all at no charge. The second tech was very professional, and got the job done. I also got Beacon to refund the $100 service charge they charged my neighbor. I will let the story speak for itself."
