"This was on a Sunday afternoon. While attempting to repair our toilet the supply line valve broke off. Water everywhere! Had to shut off the Main so no water to the entire house! We called three "24/7" plumbing services and no one was available. One suggested we call T&J. While we did have to wait they were able to call someone in to come out. He arrived, had to locate parts for our older plumbing and go pick them up. Got it replaced and for a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend and would use again!"

"If I could give 10 Stars I would! I live in Maumee and while doing laundry, my kitchen sink started to fill with water as my washer emptied, it even came out from under the toilet. Again living in Maumee with all of the sewer issues I was so worried and hesitant about calling to have my sewer line cleaned out. Reading prior reviews and looking at the amount of years in business with different companies I decided to call E&K. I spoke with Bob, who really put me at ease during the call. He explained to me the steps they take to open the line and once opened would look with a camera to see and make sure everything was fine. Best decision ever. It took over 2 1/2 hours to clear my line of mainly tree roots. Jacob and Hayden very hard workers, Damien absolutely awesome. The outcome was even better, my sewer line is fine! Very helpful and honest company. With all the sewer problems in Maumee I would choose E&K Contractors again if I ever have a problem."

"I'm very happy with the service I received from Edge Plumbing. I had an emergency with my plumbing and needed my drain cleaned out the night before a holiday. Travis responded almost immediately upon choosing him as one of the plumbing services near me. He came over that night, and then returned the next morning at 8 AM. Very prompt and communication was constant. He got my drains all cleaned out, but found a break in my line which needed to be repaired. He identified where the exact location of the break and was very helpful working with the excavator to get my line repaired. "We called due to water in our basement.  They arrived and informed me that it was a city problem and there was nothing they could do.  I then was told it would cost $151 for that information.  The crew was on scene for less than 10 minutes and only walked into my basement.  No tools or equipment used.  I was left with a foot and a half of water and the "after-hours" service call bill.  I will probably never use these guys again, we feel they used a city wide crisis to take advantage of us.

"This company was the only pro we were matched with. I was very impressed by their quick response and willingness to meet my needs. The manufacturer recommended we hire a pro to determine the issue with our water heater that we were unable to diagnose ourselves or through phone calls with them. Edwards sent out a very personable and knowledgable plumber that recommended what we needed. The charge for them to come out was stated as $59 which would be applied to the cost of repair. The heater was still under warranty, so we requested the part from the manufacturer and Edwards set up a second appt to come out and install it. They were very flexible, as the part that was promised, did not arrived until very late in the day on Friday, but we were scheduled for the next afternoon. My husband and I are pretty handy at household repairs, but were happy with their service, so decided to go with them, and draining the tank and reconnecting gas wasn't something we were looking forward to doing ourselves. Another pleasant young man showed up as scheduled and performed the service needed. Now perhaps I am uniformed, as we do most repair work for ourselves. But after being here for less than an hour and using the part the we had secured, I was handed the bill for $294.67!! Three hundred dollars for travel and less than an hour of work seemed extremely out of line to us! My husband contacted the company and requested to speak to a manager. The manager returned the call 3 days later, but needed to investigate before offering a solution. My husband was told that I had been given an estimate prior to the work being performed, which I was not. The manager told my husband he would call back. My husband did not receive this call until after he had emailed the company the following day to report his displeasure in their handling of the issue. The manager's solution was to send a refund check of $50, as he was unable to credit the card used?! I am still waiting for this check, and I still feel like we were overcharged. This is something that we would have been able to do ourselves and would have if we had been given an estimate of the actual cost. My mistake for hiring them without this information upfront, but I up until this point I had been extremely impressed by this company. If you have money to spend, then I would recommend Edwards for your project. The service staff is extremely personable and professional. I felt that the plumbers that came out were knowledgeable. I realize that you get what you pay for, but this is out of our price range and we will not be using their services again."
