I provide carpentry solutions and handyman services for central and south Alabama, South Georgia and North Florida. My education background is in Finance from Auburn University, but my passion has always been woodwork. My start in carpentry/ construction began in general woodwork for custom home builders on Lake Martin in central Alabama. Due to the good fortune of connecting with trusting clientele, I have expanded my list of providable services over the years since this time! It is my opinion that my core competency and overall value offering eliminates the two largest setbacks that consistently prove to be problematic in this line of work… Communication and Price. I provide a solution to what seems to be the newfound industry standard of “subcontractors.” Cut out all the miscommunication that comes from discussing your project with one person, just to have another person complete it. If the person you are paying is not the person completing the work, you are PAYING TOO MUCH!

"My dishwasher broke and leaked water all over my Pergo flooring causing it to buckle up. Odd Jobs Plus removed the damaged flooring, pulled up the old laminate flooring that was under the Pergo, and helped me decide what new flooring to purchase...ceramic tile! He repaired all the dry rot underneath the front windows, cut my overgrown hedges back located right in front of the windows, power washed and painted all the exterior wood and trim on the house and hung new shutters for all front windows. "<p> They did some excellent work on our upstairs. Below, they didn?t use anyone professionals for the plumbing. Didn?t glue parts together and it leaked everywhere. We're having to spend more money to have it fixed. The owner physically worked on our property for only three days. The work crew had little guidance from Tommy and they often had little idea about what else needed to be done after finishing what task they had been given.  This led to them leaving early many days causing the job to take much longer than it should have. The bathroom looks amazing but the technical(electrical / plumbing) work behind all of it had to have a lot of rework. We?ve spent a lot of money fixing their mistakes.  The reason we had the new shower built was because our old shower had standing water in the improperly built shower pan.  The new shower pan/floor is holding more water than the old shower did. The drain is higher than the surrounding tile floor.  The carpentry and the tile look great, but don?t trust this guy with your electrical or plumbing, his crew does not really know what they are doing in these trades.  If Tommy does know how to do these, he wasn?t on the job to make sure they were done properly. After he realized that his mismanagement of the project was really starting to cost him money, he no longer worried about cleaning up HIS mistakes as evidenced by the blatant failures in quality control in the end. </p> <p> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /></p> <p><br /></p>"
