Get matched with top exterior shutters installers and replacers in Pacific Palisades, CA

818 Shutters & Shades was built to fix what's broken about buying window treatments. We're not a legacy showroom — we're operators who studied this industry, found where it fails customers, and rebuilt the experience around getting it right.\n\nThat starts with curation. We've handpicked the best manufacturers and the best installers, rather than pushing whatever's easiest to sell. It continues with transparency — we've built our own technology to speed up the process, keep you informed at every step, and help you actually understand what you're buying instead of guessing.\n\nThe result is a smoother, clearer, more precise experience from your first consultation to final install — every window measured twice and fitted by installers we trust, protected by our limited lifetime warranty.\n\nSchedule your complimentary in-home design consultation:\n🌐 818shuttersandshades.com\n📞 Call or text (818) 665-7244\n✉️ hello@818shuttersandshades.com\n📅 Book online, anytime

"Evolution contracting built our patio cover from the ground up, including the roofing material and shingles. They did an outstanding job. I would definitely recommend them and hire them again for my own work."

"After dealing with frequent roof repairs, we finally decided on a complete replacement for our Livermore home. Avi kept us informed every step of the way, and the finished roof exceeded our expectations. It's made a noticeable difference during hot summer days."

"Our roof was in bad shape and we needed to have it replaced. I had gotten estimates and decided to go with Home Pro Remodeling. Emil and Brian were our contact people for the project. Emil was very professional and paid attention to our concerns. He worked with us through the entire project to our complete satisfaction. Brian is extremely courteous and helpful as well! The project went very smoothly, was completed before the initial project end date, and the results were beyond our expectations. The job turned our beautifully! Our new roof looks FANTASTIC! Our neighbors have commented to us how great it looks. We are very pleased with our experience with Home Pro Remodeling and would definitely recommend them."

"Very pleased with our bathroom remodel! Demolition happened in one day, with careful cleanup when they were done. Installation then went forward with no delays, no waiting for materials or available crew. Excellent communications and supervision throughout the whole project. And the price was reasonable. Awesome experience and our new bathroom is fantastic! We would hire Superior Home Remodeling again for sure!"

"Respect Painting first came to our home for a quote, Wayne was professional and honest.  When we chose to hire his company, they were able to fit us in quickly and came out twice, first to complete the trim and then to complete the walls.
We are very impressed with the attention to detail of Wayne and his team.  Our trim and doors look brand new.  One of our new closet doors arrived broken and Wayne went above and beyond to come back and repaint the doors for us when the new set arrived.
We would recommend them to anyone/everyone and hire them again!

"This job had lots of problems from the beginning. The bathroom is old and needed a new shower. It had to be completely reframed because of the dry rot. This was included in the contract, but Mark wanted extra money for it, even though my husband, who is a journeyman carpenter, helped him do all the reframing.
He did a decent job on the new tile, but when it came to precision work cutting out and replacing old broken tiles, the workmanship was mediocre at best. The demo must have been done badly with lots of debris in the pipes, because his plumbing work left us with a clogged sink drain which later required another plumbing company to come out and cut out the cast iron pipe and replace it, along with a whole new sewer line. All the brand new faucets drip. The grout is not very good, already showing some cracking and chipping after only 2 months of use.
Mark is a very nice person, He works from the heart.  But I did not like his attitude about working from the contract.  He went way over time - it took him 3 months instead of 6 weeks, as he works alone,  He arrived every day cheerful, but left only after working 4 or 5 hours. Every day he cried about how much he was spending at Home Depot for the rough plumbing items (also in the contract), and by the end of the first week he had 1/2 of the agreed fee, but had only done the demo and 1/2 of the rough plumbing.
When I slowed down the remaining payments according to the contract, he got very insulted.
There were too many personality clashes, so the entire experience felt like an endless fight.  Mark is a good person, as I say, and I do like him in spite of all the problems, but I would not recommend him to anyone who wants a good, on-time, on-budget professional job done right he first time.

"Alex did an excellent job.  I have done quite a bit of painting myself so I appreciate a neat, careful job.  Foothill was also very responsive - estimating and setting up the job very quickly.  They also were willing to juggle their schedule to do our job right away so that we were not unduly inconvenienced by the disruption of being out of our bedroom.  This is the fourth (or maybe fifth) time we have used Foothill, both for exterior and interior painting, and been very satisfied each time.

"Tony of Nexxus Remodeling came up through an Angie's List search in September 2018. I was in need of a contractor to repair a botched remodel of our condo. The previous contractor left our condo in disarray, including: (1) unfinished /damaged walls in need of paint and drywall repair, (2) newly purchased doors were hung crooked, (3) front door needed to be replaced, (4) baseboard and trim was crooked or in need of repair in various places, etc. etc. As I explained the various issues to Tony, he was willing to work with me to repair the most egregious items, primarily: (1) rehung all interior doors, including pocket door; (2) replace baseboard and trim in various locations throughout; (3) drywall and painting in various locations throughout; (4) install new front door, jamb including exterior stucco repair; (5) rehang interior closet doors, and inset closet tracks in laundry room. This was not a traditional job and included repair work from a previous contractor, so was difficult to even find someone that would consider doing the work. In addition, we had a water leak damage interior wood trim around french doors while we were finishing the work with Tony. Tony was even willing to come back and repair and replace the trim at a reasonable fee (more of a handyman job) given the work we had already done with him. Overall great experience with Tony."
