"Great job by Javier installing a replacement car charger at my house. He was on time, competent, and friendly. He got the job done nicely and made sure the new charger was working before he left. I really appreciate that Dalcon offers one hour time windows for appointments, not 4 hours (or worse) for a lot of other providers. Angel, who came the day before to scope out the work and provide an estimate, was also very easy to work with."

"I'm sure that Val is a great electrician. My experience is based on trying to arrange an appointment and receive a bid from him. The first time we scheduled an appointment? Val didn't show up and I had to call him at the last minute of our scheduled time. When I did, he said, and quot;Oh, I thought it was between __ and __and quot;....... well, I was going to give up at that point, because that is not a great sign. Well, we rescheduled. Val came and went. To his credit, he was kind and explanatory in his visit, and picked out issues others had already described to me. He promised a quote within three days. <br /> Nearly one week later, I emailed him. Where was the quote? I wondered. NO REPLY. Over 10 days later, I called again. He promised a bid and quot;in a few hours.and quot; Well, many hours later, still no bid. <br /> I guess either Val is popular enough that he doesn't feel he has to follow up with everyone, or maybe he is just lacking in his organization. From his point of view, I understand. On my end, it's not so great when you rearrange your schedule trying to make time for him to come over, or contact a highly rated electrician and expect a professional follow through. It would have been WAY better for him to say, and quot;Hey, I can't do it,and quot; or, and quot;Sorry, I'm too busy,and quot; rather than being flaky and unreliable. I wish you the best of luck if you choose to contact him. He did eventually end up getting back to me. I have faith that he is the great electrician other people say he is. He just has room for improvement like the rest of us."

"We submitted a service request through our AHS home warranty and were assigned to Budget Electric. It was after work hours. It affected our fridge and stove, so AHS put it as expedite/emergency. The next morning we were contacted by BE, and they found us a canceled appointment time for the following morning. In the meantime, I searched BE for reviews and saw quite a few negative reviews, leaving me nervous for our appointment. Based on the service we received, I don't know how they have bad reviews. The women answering my phone calls were very understanding and patient with may many phone calls. Michelle and another woman handled all my questions and concerns. There were a couple of times I wasn't able to reach them, but I'm assuming they were handling other calls or were at a unch break. Although it was an hour outside of our service window, we had an electrician show up soon after. With the storms, I think they're busy and sometimes run a little behind. Michael was the best and completely blew away all concerns as soon as he arrived. He was courteous and positive the entire time. He asked permission for coming inside, opening doors, going into rooms, etc. He patiently explained everything he did. He wasn't annoyed by curiosity or my questions. He was thorough and had diagnosed our problem in less than 5 minutes. Although it ended up being an issue for PG&E to fix, Michael double-checked the circuit breaker and boxes. He replaced a faulty fuse box to ensure no additional issues. After our service was complete, I shared our initial concerns based on previous reviews. Michael was still positive and genuinely courteous. He had positive things to say about Miguel and Abraham as well. He explained they have a high volume of service calls. He didn't make excuses. Without dismissing the other reviews, he said that with the volume of calls they do, there are probably some negative reviews. Although I don't typically leave reviews, I felt it was only fair to give an honest review after reading the negative reviews. Thanks to BE and Michael for service above and beyond!"
