"I am very pleased and even amazed at the transformation of my back yard. First, I must compliment Jesse, the landscape architect who designed my project. I had very specific "wants and needs" which he incorporated perfectly. The renderings and plans were excellent. The job supervisor, Leo, was very impressive. Even though he was overseeing quite a few other jobs, he never forgot any details or tweeks I wanted in my project. He was always very responsive. It took approximately 3 months to complete my project. I'm sure it would have taken other companies much longer as I saw happening when my neighbors had landscape work done at their homes. Many days there were 5-7 men on my job; they showed up promptly at 7 AM and worked very hard all day. They would also clean up the site at the end of each day. They were very experienced, as evidenced by the great work they did. I am a very particular person, so I closely watched the work being done. Santiago was often on-site and always checked the plans to be sure the job was being built as specified, He also expertly did much of the work himself. My backyard went from having very little useable or functional space to a place where I can easily entertain 50 or more people. When the job was done they did the final TLC, as Leo calls it, and they even washed my lower story windows and patio doors that were bordering the construction site. Final compliments to Jessica the office admin person and Richard the owner of the company. Unfortunately the photos were taken on a cloudy day and don't do the project justice."

"We had a stoppage in our patio drainage system near where several pipes meet. It wasn't clear exactly what the best avenue of attack would be. I suggested one opening which I thought was the straightest shot to the problem, but there was another the tech wanted to try first. That one seemed to lead to a T that couldn't be passed. The tech then used my original suggestion and that turned out to do the trick after some struggle with the blockage. There is usually an additional charge for going down more than one drain hole, but since success came with my original suggestion there was no additional charge which I thought was fair. In any event problem solved quickly and for the agreed upon price.
BTW, concerning the price, there is a rate sheet on their web page that lays it all out which I appreciate. There are 3 tiers: regular, overtime and double time which correspond to regular hours, off hours/weekends, and late hours/sunday/holidays. I had the work done on a Saturday morning so the indicated rate was overtime. However, there was a moment of confusion at the point of final payment when the office claimed it should be double time since it was Thanksgiving weekend. The rate sheet, original over the phone conversation and the quote from the tech on arrival all were for the overtime not the double time rate. To their credit, this was honored without too much fuss. The take away here is make sure you know which rate you are expected to pay especially when you are booking on or near a holiday. For example, is the Saturday of Easter weekend double time? It might be.

"Randy Rasmussen did an incredible job. His team worked diligently alongside him. He explains the details, offers options to ensure you end up with a perfectly designed and executed project. Our existing slab had no rebar, and was poured atop an older, existing concrete structure. Randy demoed it and hauled it away. He leveled the dirt and laid and packed a new surface and then built several layers of protection to ensure that our new structure could be as crack resistant as possible. We have base, rebar, and several expansion joints because we are concerned the new slab could crack. Once concrete was poured, he smoothed the surface over several times and then broomed it for texture. We are very satisfied with the finished product and couldn't be happier with Randy's delivery of service. The whole thing from start to finish went flawlessly and took less than a week. After a month, the concrete has cured nicely, there are no bubbles, no imperfections whatsoever on the concrete slab. Overall, we were very impressed it turned out so nicely. We will definitely use him again for additional repairs and work in the future."

"The first guy came over and took pictures on an ipad and gave an estimate. I have tile on the first portion of the roof and then the rest is a graded flat roof. He entered the roof from the front meaning he walked on the tiles. After the repairs we completed, we had another big storm and the roof leaked where the tiles were. I later learned you are not supposed to walk on tile. I think he may have disturbed something causing the new leak. He was professional and explained all of the costs, showed me photos. The actual repair person came while I was at work and did the repairs. He sent pictures of all of the completed work. The leak that I called for repair was repaired and never leaked again. He cleaned up the roof as well. I was happy with this. I tried contacting them again but never received a reply. Overall, they got the job done but I believe more care should be taken on a tile roof. I think they should be more responsive to emails because I would have used them again. They were responsive to the initial scheduling and consultation but after that, I could not get a reply."

"SES builders remodeled my kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms at my house. The work took appx 3 months from the initial meeting that we had with Gil all the way to the last inspection that he did. During the work, Gil worked hand by hand with us explaining and recommend us about the things and materials that were the best fit for us. More than that he also went with us to some of his vendors and helped us selecting and buying the finished materials. We are very happy with the overall work that he did and with the extra work that he did for us during the work. We already recommended him to few of our friends that saw the work and asked us about our experience with him."
