"I was a little nervous about ordering windows on the internet using measurements I'd taken myself, but I loved the design on the website so, initially I only ordered 2 windows to check the quality, my ability to measure accurately and the company's ability to build to my measurements. Jeff, the salesman I dealt with was attentive without being overwhelming and the first order was delivered in about 4 weeks. The windows were exactly what I was looking for and fitting them was a breeze. "Where to begin....the short review: My husband and I highly recommend Alamo Exteriors! They do exceptional work and their entire team is very easy to work with and very professional. <br /> The details: We spent a lot of time trying to analyze whether to put money into our existing home or sell it and start fresh and buy a newer home. We finally decided to remodel our home. We received about 4 or 5 quotes from various siding companies. They all had their stories to tell about what they could do for us and what it would cost. We decided to go with <strong>Mark Belto and Alamo Exteriors</strong>. Mark explained, in great detail, the process by which they would install the new windows, siding, and our new screened-in patio. He wasn't the least expensive, but he wasn't the most either. Mark was always very polite, informative, and always accessible. He even gave us his cell number and would stay in touch with us, even over holiday weekends. He came by the house regularly to check on the progress and would call us to keep us informed of the progress. He has a keen eye for detail and always made sure our requests were dealt with, and always with a sense of urgency. In addition, all of his workers that we met were extremely polite, responsive, and easy to talk to. I was impressed by the way Mark talked to his workers as well. They all love him. He never talked down to them, but spoke with each of them as an equal when explaining what he wanted from them. They are a great team! It seemed that even with our minds made up before they began, my husband and I kept throwing little changes at them. They handled every request with grace and were very accommodating. I've always heard that remodeling jobs take their toll on couples but I have to say that this was the best experience I've ever had. They handled our home as if it were their own. They did a magnificent job! I would recommend them to anyone and I would <br /> use them over and over again! I can honestly say that we did not have one single “encounter” during the entire makeover. They are THE BEST! I wish everyone that ran a business was as easy to deal with as Permian Basin Exteriors and Isaac Redecop and his son. They put a metal roof on for us and will return later to install new windows. "Very quick response from owner in coming out and measuring, explaining our options, and providing a quote. We ordered two window shades on July 29, 2016. Because the shades are made to order we were told it would be 3 to 4 weeks before they would receive them. After 4 weeks and no word from the contractor, I called to inquire about the time frame. I was told they had heard from the factory that the order was being processed and they hoped they would ship the next week. I did not hear from them again until September 19 when they called to inform me the shades had been shipped. The shades arrived within a few days and installation was scheduled immediately and was completed on September 23. The installation was very professional and well done with one exception. The power cord for the motorized blind was not long enough to be run neatly along the house and the installer simply stretched it across the yard. Since this wasn't necessarily nailed down as part of the quote, I decided I would deal with it myself and clean up the cord installation. This weekends project. We have only had the shades for a week now but we are very happy with the quality of the product. We were frustrated that it took 8 weeks when we were told 3 to 4 weeks. Our frustration level was probably elevated by the lack of any updates or explanation for the delay. Although it was a small order, I would recommend the contractor communicate better and keep the customer informed. Especially when there is a long delay over the original time estimate. We'll do business with them again as they are good folks and have been in business many years. We'll just hope for improvement in the areas mentioned."

"<p>The Re-Bath unit installation went very well, even with a few normal glitches along the way. After the unit was installed I changed my mind about the wall surround for the unit. Originally, I wanted to install ceramic tile. However, after some thought along with input from Heath at A.H.I., I decided to have them install the manufactured wall tile surround designed for the unit. That was a very wise decision.</p> <p>The unit installation required some serious modifications to the sewer connection. Their in-house plumber did a superb job of taking care of that problem and the connection of the water supply lines. After the unit was installed, one of their trim guys took over and did a fantastic job of trimming out the whole thing. It looks great and I make a point to show it off to anyone who comes to visit. All the trim molding work in the kitchen and hallway was done beyond what I expected. Very high quality work.</p> <p>By the way, the work of tearing out my old bathtub and preparing for the new unit was really neat to watch. Imagine using a sledge hammer to literally bust out a cast iron tub. Then, in order to bring the Re-Bath tub into the bathroom, part of the bathroom wall which opens into the hallway had to be literally cut out after removing the door molding. They restored the cut-out as if it never happened. Believe it or not, through all the above, not one ceramic floor tile was cracked or even scratched and not one scratch on the cabinet fronts or the fake marble counter top.</p> <p>I'm not kidding, these guys are good.</p> <p>Yes, their product is a little higher priced than maybe going to a big box store, buying a generic unit and paying someone to put it in. BUT, consider this, all the men I observed doing my job knew their job and knew how to do it right. If you want cheap, then buy cheap. That's what you will get. But, if you want it right, then be willing to pay the price to have it done right, plus the very attractive warranty which came with my unit.</p> <p>You may ask if I am happy with my Re-Bath walk-in tub. Happy doesn't even begin to describe how much I have enjoyed it in the months since it was installed. It has been a literal life-saver for me. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner.</p>"
