"I called Countryside Service for help with a clogged shower drain after another local company couldn’t resolve the issue. Jack came out for an estimate and followed my lead with COVID safety measures without a second thought or being asked. He was knowledgeable and quickly diagnosed the issue below the ground level of my crawl space from a photo I took during a recent remodel when a section of floorboards above the drain were removed. Several feet of galvanized pipe and an outdated floor drain were replaced in tight quarters under the house. Jack showed me the old hardware and it was clear he made the right recommendation from the start. There was a misunderstanding about the amount I owed Jack for his work, which took less time and fewer people than indicated on his estimate; however Countryside Service takes their reputation for an honest price seriously and their team wasted no time resolving the conflict to my satisfaction in a very professional manner. "In 2022, we hired the A-Team to install an all new sprinkler system in our yard and pasture. I was disappointed from the start with the work. I’ve been fixing these deficiencies since the project was completed. The bury depths are substandard. I have pipes buried too shallow to aerate. I have found bury depths from 3 inches to 8 inches. I’ve had to dig up several sprinklers to remove rocks and debris that were left in the lines during install causing blockage. On July 16, 2024, I had to replace the power line to the pump. I called A-Team to do it in May. They kept saying “next week, we’ll be over” or I’ll have Nathan call you”. Never happened. They finally quit taking my calls or returning voicemail or texts. The power line installed was 14 ga. wire on a 20 amp, 220v circuit. 14ga. is too small for a 20amp circuit. Bury depth was found to be 3-8 inches. Immediately under the pipe. Caution tape was used, but it was laying on the wire. Worthless. If you hit the caution tape, you already hit the wire too. I had to replace the wire because the line kept shorting out and tripping the breaker. I found the culprit, an improper splice. The ends of this splice were merely taped together then had heat shrink over that, but the heat shrink was open at both ends. Not a waterproof connection at all. None of the connections at the control valves had waterproof wire nuts either. They were all just taped. These wire nuts were provided from the beginning. My wife had to go through and redo all their connections. Also, the pasture sprinkler lines were only 3-8 inch bury. I specifically told the A-team 1-1/2 foot bury so I could disc the field occasionally. Nice enough guys but save yourself some trouble and hire reputable professionals."
