"I hired Dalinghaus Construction to install two push Piers for a freestanding column/wall (bad clay soil causing movement). I meet with Kevin to go over the scope of work and he explained everything in detail. The price was the best I can find. Took one extra day to finish the work, but they did not charge me any additional fees. 3 month later, I had a feeling that the column/wall is moving again and call Kevin. He show up in a few days and show me there is no way that wall is still moving and he was right. They are very good at what they do and customer service is the best. Thank you very much."

"The walkway past five of the units in our condo complex had been tilted and broken by a neighbor's tree roots. On top of that, the original construction had an awkward step-up-step-down landing in front of each doorway, making it impassible to wheelchairs or strollers. MB Paving's prices were competitive with a couple other bids we got, but they were set apart by the professionalism of the owner Jose. He was courteous, and clearly understood the nature of the job and the best way to solve for it. We worked together on a plan to create a rolling walkway that rose to each doorway without covering the foundation vents. He consulted me on every decision from color & finish to drainage. The whole job took 3 or 4 days, including the day to dry, and we are so happy with the result. It looks infinitely better, and is so much easier and safer to navigate. I would absolutely hire them again."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Palmdale, CA

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
