"Our neighborhood had been hit by a hailstorm a few years ago and most roofs were damaged and needed to be replaced. It was a boon for the roofers as these were insurance claims. Many roofers padded their estimates and passed along some of the extra money to offer freebies to the home owners. Neligan was recommended to us by another homeowner in the neighborhood who had used them and was very happy with the work. We had already received estimates from other roofers, who had the intention of offering incentives to us. Neligan did not do that. They gave us an honest quote for the roof repair. They did a great job, kept us abreast of what was to happen, and were professional throughout. They did not put a lien on our property like other roofers do, which we appreciated. We were very happy with the work they did, and had them later replace the roof of one of our rental properties. That went well also. There were some issues with the skylights leaking after that job but they came and fixed it promptly and there have been no issues since. They also fixed the roof of another rental we had, solving a problem that had existed for years. Finally, when the parish hall of our church needed a roof replacement, we recommended them to our pastor, and they did the work on that roof. There have been no issues with that work either. When it comes time to replace the roof of our other rental property, we will use them again. They are honest (which is hard with roofers), professional, and they back their work."

"From the estimate, where all my questions were answered to questions asked while making my decision, Freeman stood out far and above all the other Roofing Companies. My roof was put on yesterday. Prompt on time arrival through to the clean up of all material, including looking for any fallen nails with a metal detector, I am more than happy with Freeman Roofing. "Everything was great at the beginning. We waited for our call that we would be scheduled and then things started not going as planned. The got the roof off and found the chimney needed to be replaced, so we got an estimate on that and a chimney guy was scheduled. Then the roof work stopped. My complaint here was we were not communicated with about when the roofers would be back to restart. I had to call a couple of times about the chimney guy and roofer. When they finally finished they were supposed to clean up the yard, run the magnet for nails and that was done poorly. The first day they were gone we found nails in the driveway, nails and trash in the yard and roof debris in the yard. I also noticed our gutter seals had been cracked from their ladders. We ended up meeting with the projects manager twice and they came out to clean up and fix gutters 3 times (on one of the trips the broke one of the spouts of the gutter off). I am still cleaning up the yard but after three trips I didn’t want them back out. This is not just one persons fault their. Lake of communication was a big issue with many people. Also be ware that if you pay with a credit card you will have to pay their square fee, I was not made aware of this until I went to pay even though they said it was on the email with the bill, which it was not and I had to forward them the email to prove it. I will not recommend them or use them again."

"Mr Porter came to my house within 2 days after I contacted him and provided an estimate to do the work.  Because he had several other jobs already scheduled we agreed on a date two weeks away for him to do the work.  I contacted Mr Porter the beginning of the week we had scheduled the work, and  established a time and day for him to do the work.  Mr Porter arrived to do the job at the time and on the day we had agreed to.  Mr Porter had all of the tools, equipment, and supplies required to completed the job as agreed.  After completion of the work Mr Porter made sure all scrap was removed and the area was as clean as when he arrived.  I would call Mr Porter again without hesitation when I required the services of a handyman.. <br />"
