"This was no small project and this contractor is not typical... a second floor deck around 3 sides of a 6 bedroom house done in a way I could park a car on the deck. Workmanship was 5 star, worked full days, used quality materials and the fit and finish is beyond our expectations. Phil and his crew are AMAZING!! I only have pictures of the two additional projects, one a storage area and the other an eating area built on top of a tree with a 1.5" gap between deck and tree platform to conform to code. Non better to do business with!"

"They are very simple to work with and they're very sweet people. They went out on their way to help me and had to drive and find the right materials for me. Without me having to be onsite they are taking care of everything, even though I was not physically present they are very hands on."

"We hired Sedona Home Improvement, Inc. to do a variety of things around our home from building a retaining wall/ATV path to touch up painting to a privacy wall to drywall patching. <br /> Sedona Home Improvement returned every call we made to them in a timely manner. They were on time for every appointment. They completed the jobs bid in the time frame stated and did a quality job. <br /> We can not recommend these guys high enough. It is refreshing to do business with people that have integrity, are honest and strive to gain repeat business by doing a good job. <br /> We already have another list of items for them to do which includes a major outdoor structure. <br /> Impressive. Highest recommendation. <br />"

"Rocky Mountain restoration was referred to us by the great folks at Armer Corp. who came out to repair the pipe/plumbing issue we had (Armer Corp is our home warranty companies go to for plumbers, sadly the second time I've had to have them out to fix issues with our new home and they were awesome both times, highly recommend them as well). Rocky Mountain was a pleasure to work with. They were incredibly prompt, took care of everything I knew needed to be done and few things I hadn't even considered. Best of all they were awesome with working around issues we had with our households hectic schedules to get them in and out of the house each time they came in to check on work or start new portions. They couldn't have been any nicer, more helpful, or professional. It's my hope to NEVER need their services again, however if the need arises, they will be the first ones I call!"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Parks, AZ

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
