"After looking for someone for a very long time I came across Joe on Angie's List.  He said he was about a week out and the next week he called as promised.  The jets had not worked in a couple of years but when we powered it up, everything worked!  Joe took the time to inspect the threads on a nozzle that popped out on start up.  One was broken and he said he'd try to find another nozzle.  He reinstalled the nozzle and it has stayed put so far.  Joe provided a lot of information and said he didn't see the need to open up the panel at this point since all was working.  I agreed.  If the problem reappears there is no doubt I will call Joe.  A trust worthy good guy.

Mr. John Sherlock arrived at the time and date specified to give us an estimate.  He returned the following day with his assistant and performed the job in one day.  He installed 26 copper lightning rods on the flat roof of our 7,000 square foot home.  These rods were connected with 500 feet of heavy duty copper cable and were grounded at three points with ground rods going down through the drainpipes into the ground. All parts of the system were securely attached to the roof.  He did a neat job and cleaned up all excess materials.  We were very pleased with the job him did.  Since installation of the lightning rod system we have had no trouble with lightning striking the house or causing power outages or surges.

"Don't let the name fool you: Mr. Damer does much more than excavation. I'm a single mom and I have an older house that's not a fixer-upper but has come up on generational updates/maintenance. I'm on a budget and can pay, but not pay twice if it's done wrong. Mr. Damer cut down and removed a very large dead tree in my yard and clear about 30 x 8' of dense shrubbery, then regraded and seeded it, and finally chainlink fenced it increasing immensely, the utility of my yard for the kids. As a USMC veteran Mr. Damer is disciplined and efficient and respectful of a family environment - a throwback to an older generation. In the house Mr. Damer has helped to begin electrical updates/upgrades installing new work lights in my basement, an oven hood and ceiling fixtures. "They're pretty good. I think overall they're good, I'm happy I have it. They can be problematic, that's if you don't know your contract and what's covered or not. It's fine. I like it. I like American Home Shield. They don't really vary in cost. They do respond to you. They send really decent referrals and you really don't have to do too much. They have different plans, so it's up to the person to find the plan and know what they are getting. When you call they suggest you go online. So when you go online and it does not turn out what they say, then they say you should have called. It's just a circular thing. When you put a claim in online, it only gives you a category and no opportunity for details and that's a problem. All my electrical smoke alarms went off in the middle of the night. It was horrible, I had to get up on a ladder at 2:00 am in the morning and pull out wires in the ceiling. To me it was an electrical issue, but they dismissed it. Because I couldn't tell them that in the service request, I just put electrical and it was a big problem. They're website needs to have a note, a comment. It would be great instead of a category to add some comments. They don't have that."
