Hi, I’m Kevin with Klock Home Services, proudly serving the Fox Valley area. I provide reliable, detail-oriented handyman and home repair services at fair prices. From furniture and drywall repair to minor carpentry, fixture installs, and general maintenance, I treat every project like it’s in my own home. Whether it’s a small fix or a larger task, you can count on quality work done right the first time.

"Our house had a water damage that ruined much of the drywall and floor on the first floor and the basement. For such a big repair job, I carefully looked up the reviews and recommendations from Angie's list and talked to 3 contractors that have the highest ratings. AOM was one of the three. David, the owner of AOM, quickly came to our house, assessed the damage, explained to me what need to be done, showed great empathy to our loss and current situation (having to stay in hotel waiting to go back to our house), and put a very competitive bid (about 2/3 the bid of another contractor). We picked them and signed the contract. AOM uses Trello, a cloud-based project tracking system that software companies often use, to effectively and promptly communicate task description and updates to all workers and house owners. AOM workers are professional, hard working, and friendly. For such a big project, expectedly there were some hiccups and AOM had to juggle ours with their other on-going projects. David kindly explained to me various aspects of the repair work and promptly fixed any faults that we identified. I became to completely trust David's professional skill and that he would treat our house like his. Several nights and weekends David came to work late so that we could move back to normal life as soon as possible. In the end, we are very happy with our remodeled house. I sincerely recommend David and AOM for any house remodeling and restoration job."

I have been working in the home improvement industry for 8 years, specializing specifically in window and door installations. My approach is simple: I treat every project as if I were working on my own home. I understand that replacing windows and doors is a significant investment, so I focus on precision, energy efficiency, and leaving every job site cleaner than I found it. I take pride in helping homeowners improve their home’s comfort and curb appeal with high-quality craftsmanship.\nI stand behind my work with a 1-year labor warranty.\nI specialize in the installation of industry-leading brands, including Andersen, Pella, and Marvin. Whether you prefer wood, vinyl, or fiberglass, I have the expertise to ensure a perfect fit for any brand you choose.\n

"Contacted Brian along with several other companies related to cracks in the foundation of my basement.  Brian was prompt in responding by phone and in person.  He was also very friendly and engaging in conversations, while also being extremely knowledgeable.  Brian expressed pride in his work and provided a lifetime warranty (which will transfer to the new owner as I am selling the house)  for the cracks his crew filled.  On the day the work was completed, a crew of 3 came within the scheduled time period and set straight to the job at hand.  During the course of the work Brian stopped by to check on the process and to provide direction on how to take care of a large crack in a particularly bad location (above cement sidewalk outside, and directly across from door jamb inside).  The workers took care of all of the cracks efficiently and thoroughly.  The crew leader (name escapes me) even filled in some cracks in the floor with extra filler that he had on hand.  Brian returned near the end of the process to ensure all went well., which it had.  I was thoroughly pleased with the service provided and would hire them again for future issues.

"Fast response and repair. Will hire again."

"It went extremely well. The technician from Illinois Garage Repair was very professional and did an excellent job in replacing the garage door opener. He even went "beyond the call of duty" by programming all of my remote controls."

"It went well. Jorge came out and fixed an exterior door that was busted in and a bathroom door that was broken. I would definitely hire again"
