"There was no water but needed I needed cracks filled so a radon remediation system could be installed.  Radon level was 7.7 before the cracks were filled.  Its now 0.9.   I'll be monitoring the radon level for a year to see if it goes back up but I believe that filling the cracks resolved the radon issue.   Prior to starting the work he explained that the filler would not exactly match the concrete.  This isn't a problem since the basement will be refinished and the floors covered.   He took his time filling the cracks so there was no messy over flow and made sure that the filler was level.   The filler did settle a little after a day but he left me with plenty of filler so I could level them out where needed.   Grinding concrete makes a ton of dust.  The way he setup, the dust was collected and he was and there was no mess. <br /> $700 may seem like a lot to fill cracks, but there were a lot of them and a few of them were very wide.  <br /> Overall I couldn't be happier.    <br /> <br /> <br />"

"The owner, office staff, and foreman were very responsive, and answered all my questions. The contract that was provided was detailed. I thought the owner did a thorough job in assessing what was needed, both inside and out. Aside from the french drain, the system has a sump pump, a back-up sump pump, and a battery back-up. They also installed a floor drain at the bottom of the bulkhead, and installed extra membrane (membrane higher up on 2 walls) because of the poor condition of the walls. The exterior discharge is about 10' away from the house in the backyard into a lawn canister. The work went smoothly; there were no issues. The crew and crew foreman worked diligently, and arrived promptly on both days. The area was left fairly clean at the end of the job, although there is some residual concrete dust on the floor. The job itself appears very neat. I do need to replace floor tiles after the french drain installation, but I was apprised of this upfront. I feel confident that the system should solve my flooding basement problem, but have not had the opportunity to test it out. I believe if there were to be any issues, B-dry would come back to remedy them. In fact, the supervisor scheduled an appointment after completion of the job to move the washer and dryer back against the wall, to inspect the job, and answer any of my final questions and concerns. Prior to hiring B-dry, I got 2 other quotes. One of the other companies had a similar system and similar price, but I decided to go with B-dry because it seemed that their method was a little less destructive to the basement, their references were good, and they have been around a long time. I would just mention that the drain system has a lifetime warranty. The sump pumps have a 1 year warranty. Water from areas not included in a job plan (i.e. seepage through a window) is not covered."
