"We hired Johnny to remodel our Kitchen and our Bathroom. 7 months later, the project is still not completed (but it's mostly done). Johnny has delayed our project multiple times by not sending his workers for multiple days at a time. Routinely his excuse has been that he's been doing this for 40 years and that he cannot send his workers for just a few hours (even though almost always his guys have had multiple days worth of work to do). In addition, when his guys do show, they often come around 9:30 AM, leave for 1 hour lunch, then leave for the day at 3:30 PM. As my project is winding down, we are ready for our cabinets to be completed, but were told by the sub-contractor that Johnny owes him over $12K for our job and that he cannot come to complete the work until he will get paid. We have made every payment so far, and our last payment is not due until the project is completed. Johnny is unprofessional to work with, unreliable, and dishonest. Avoid him at all costs."
