"Tuck&Howell technicians responded quickly to my call about a non-working home AC. The technician diagnosed a blown compressor and since our system was 20 years old recommended AC replacement. We researched and decided to replace both the AC and gas furnace to maximize efficiency. The system was diagnosed on Monday, parts ordered by Wednesday, and new system installed Friday morning - just ahead of a heat wave. (We are priority plus plan members at Tuck&Howell and that may have given us some priority - I recommend their priority plus plan service as well, which we've had for some 15 years or so.) The installation went smoothly and the new system is working great. Be sure to ask for a new thermostat, if needed, when you get a new system installed since it may or may not be included by default. We asked and it was provided. Our unit was a Carrier 3-ton, 14-seer unit with AC and gas furnace."

"Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. I would recommend this company to my family./friends and will use again."

"They did a wonderful job. On time, knew what they were doing, had all their tools and needed supplies with them. I hate it when tradesmen need to “go back” or order a part for a job they expected and have had experience doing. They came twice. The first time to diagnose the problem, clean out the pipes, and left me with a usable sink that wouldn’t back up so i could do dishes. Victor was outstanding. Very skilled, good worker. Did a good job cleaning up… didn’t leave a mess behind. Bradley came the next time to finish the job. They had initially been called out to assess for a home warranty claim. Therefore the interval between visits. Bradley took out the unit and replaced it with a new unit. Like Victor, he was also very skilled, Professional on time and did a great job cleaning up after he was done. Both were pleasant and respectful of both person and property. It was a good experience…. No problems with the sink since! I like supporting local family businesses. These guys do honest work at honest prices. They are fair…you Can trust them that they won’t push or sell products you don’t need. Really a breath of fresh air. Just to show up on time is huge in my book. Give these Folks a try. "Ryan came out and inspected our HVAC since we had trouble cooling the upstairs. He said the biggest problem was the duct work, suggesting that needed to be replaced. We decided to have our entire HVAC system replaced since the current system was 9 years old and of a low end system. Marius and Drew came out to replace the system. Considering they started on the 2 hottest days of the week, they did a great job installing the new system and reworking the ducting in the attic. They provided updates on their progress and what they were doing. They were very personable and cared about the quality of work they provided. Thanks to Marius and Drew!!"
