"I have rarely been as pleased with any service as I received from this company. <br />      The main wastewater/sewer pipe was clogged so that toilets, sinks and clothes washer waste was backing up. A plumber whom I called could not clear the line and recommended General Sewer Service; it was then about 4PM. <br />  I called General Sewer and explained the situation, expecting to have to wait until morning for service. But by 5:30 he was at the house with all the equipment he needed to clear the line--which was under the slab floor of the house-- and by 8:30PM he was finished and the problem was solved. <br /> Rarely have I received service as promptly and effectively completed as General Sewer Service provided. <br />"

"This is my first septic system having moved into a new home from an older home with a public sewer connection, and I was quite pleased. They scheduled my pumping for the same day which impressed me since this was not an emergency. The two guys were friendly and answered my questions about whether or not to use enzymes (unnecessary since everything was working) and when to get it pumped again. They even showed how I could clean the effluent filter myself with a garden hose. Price seemed to be in line with the ballpark figure I'd looked up for a routine pumping of a septic tank. Only problem I had with them that I was told they'd be here between 2:00 & 3:00 in the afternoon and they arrived at 3:30-3:45. Not a big deal for me because I work from home anyway, but could've been a problem if I'd had to be somewhere. This is not going to stop me from using English again, though."

"The plumber arrived at the stated time and immediately placed a covering in the front hallway to protect it for bringing the new toilet into the house. He went straight to work and was very efficient. The original quoted price was $175 but he point out (which we had suspected) that there had been a problem with the installation of the first toilet and it would require additional steps to put the toilet in properly. For these additional steps he only charged an extra $20. It is clear from the beginning that this new toilet is much more firmly installed than  the one before, most likely due to the past installer's error."
