"The purchase of my new kitchen cabinets and counter tops went great, sales rep Greg was very attentive to all questions I had, made adjustments as needed, pricing was good, and they are made right on the premise, they came out to measure, delivery time was great, thought it would take maybe 4-6 weeks, we got in 2 weeks, delivery was on time promised, we did our own install. Counter tops were ordered and delivered 6 days later, installers were GREAT, Rodrigo and partner were on time promised, very professional, friendly, quick, cleaned up after, would not even know they were there, except for my new counter tops. "When have you actually been happy using a contractor? Usually it is such an awful experience but not this time! I recently redid my condo and had a less-than-perfect experience with my contractor so when my brother was looking for someone, I obviously had nobody to refer. After three no shows from other contractors, I came to Angie's List and found Stanley's. <br /> The entire process was such a joy and so easy that I am still in awe over the whole thing. Thought they were too good to be true. They answered emails incredibly promptly, were really friendly, came for an estimate quickly as well. They sent little emails like "called the granite place, waiting to hear back" etc. Just little things like that really ease your mind. My contractor made me go to the burbs where I had to rent a car, but not Stanley's. They suggested I look at a granite place that was actually in the city of Chicago, not too far from downtown that I could get to easily. I helped my brother pick out a slab for the kitchen and a remnant slab for the bathroom, and Stanley's said they could begin working on it once we paid half. We mailed a check and few days later we were notified that they got the check and would install the granite a few days later. My brother got a higher grade of granite than what I got for about the same or a little less of the price. <br /> Come installation day, again I feared that they were too good to be true. Would they no-show? Break something? No!!! Two guys came in, took them about 5 hours to do the whole thing. They worked very hard and were professional. They wouldn't even let me give them lunch, just work focused. Granite looks beautiful, no measuring errors. They cleaned up very well too. They even made my brother a cutting board from the leftover granite! It was so nice working with people that you can count on, I would refer these guys to anyone in the market for counter tops! <br />"

"As I say, when the leak took place in our laundry room, we brought in Troy Bain and his company. He quickly fixed the pipes, filled in the hole, and created a beautiful new tile floor in the laundry room and adjoining bathroom. Then, during the long period that the condo association resisted paying for the rest of the interior work we needed done, Troy continued to advise us. At the point when the condo association did at least request bids, Troy submitted the one that was most reasonable. After the lawsuit finally was settled, my wife and I hired Troy to do the massive amount of remaining work. We then left town for three-and-a-half weeks in order to give him and his assistant time to do most of that work without our being in their way. The two of them did a great deal of plaster work, painting, rebuilding of walls, investigation and fixing of leaks, repairing of floors, and much more. They also replaced our front door and repositioned it and some of our interior doors as well. All of that took just over four weeks (the time we were away plus several additional days), and when they were done, our home was essentially reborn. We cannot begin to describe what a massive job this was, yet Troy found ways of dealing with every single problem. Without hesitation, we can attest to the fact that Troy is a master of many crafts, as well as a true artist with plaster, paint, tile, drywall, and more. He also is extremely conscientious. At any rate, once Troy had completed all of the aforementioned tasks, my wife asked him to do some additional plumbing work and to replace all of the cabinet handles and hinges in our kitchen and upstairs bathroom. That work, too, was beautifully and effectively done for just a small additional fee, with the total charges still well under what all other contractors had bid just for doing the most basic initial work needed. In summary, we cannot recommend Troy Bain and his company All Things Done, Inc. highly enough!!! In the future, we will not even consider using a different contractor."
