"It went well. I was impressed the first time I used CJ's Appliance Repair INC. In terms of schedule, they were on time. They were courteous and professional. They did an outstanding job. Maggie who is the office schedule manager did a good job in keeping me as a customer updated. I have a lot of respect for her."

"They did not arrive during the scheduled window, so I called the owner and he answered, called the tech and gave me a call back to let me know he was running behind but would be there, so that was good. Diagnosed the problem as the DW needed a new sump pump and motor, which was almost $300 including. I went ahead and scheduled for the work for the next day tentatively depending on the tech's availability, but at the latest, the day after. After no call and well past normal hours the 2nd day, I called to check in and he was running late again. He did show up the second day, but later at night (7 PM or later). The washer worked for one cycle and then i noticed my carpet near the kitchen was all wet. The washer leaked after the repair which it did not prior to the fix. I called ALC on a Friday afternoon several times and left messages with no return call. I did get an apologetic call Monday from the owner and scheduled a return visit with the technician. The tech diagnosed the leak as blown gaskets as the result of the new pump putting out higher pressure and worn seals. The gaskets (O rings) were price at nearly $50. They did not charge for the service call on the 2nd visit and once the O rings were replaced, the DW has worked fine. Overall, I think they do quality work but are temporarily understaffed and busy which led to the late arrivals and not calling back in timely fashion. Bottom line is I would hire them again."

He identified the problem with our ice maker leak and the part was in stock. He came back the next day to fix it. Excellent customer service and reasonable cost, $316, for a $2800 appliance. I definitely recommend Gulfside Appliance Repair!"
