"One screw type pier installed. 2 workers hand dug hole below bottom of foundation. Cleaned out under foundation for platform. Although foundation was deeper than I thought, the hole was done much better and quicker than I envisioned. Pier was screwed at bottom of hole with a hydraulic motor. Once limit on hydraulic pressure was reached, the pier was cut at proper level, platform installed, and cracked section of foundation was raised with a hydraulic jack. Crack in stonework closed up nicely without going too far and creating additional cracks. Workers had 5 and 15 years experience doing this work. Very professional and did a very nice job every step of the way. Note that I (homeowner) chose to move and reinstall landscaping stones and gutter drain. Also, tuckpointing/repairing the cracks was not included in the quote. I plan to do that myself at a later date."

I highly recommend this company to any homeowner who's seeking such work. If you're able to plan a few months ahead when scheduling a project and/or acquiring an estimate, please keep in mind that patience is a virtue. I was told up front that this crew was booked several months out with other projects. But since I was able and willing to wait, I have absolutely no regrets about doing so now. As is the case with any competent, skilled, quality construction business today, they are typically booked several months in advance because of the high demand for their services."

"Crew was professional. Other than lunch, worked non stop. Breaking up concrete creates dust but the workmen put down drop cloths and cleaned up the work site after the job was completed. Viewing the work, it looks good. They repaired a 53 ft section of my basement. The test will be in the Spring when it rains but I am confident the problem has been fixed. This company has very good customer reviews and that is what I was looking for."
