Our goal is NOT to make old pieces look new. When a piece of antique furniture is correctly restored, it will convey a sense of its history and charm. It will gracefully reflect its age. The best kept secret about antique furniture restoration is that often, doing less is best.

Main Line Kitchen Design is a unique business model that specializes in complete kitchen renovations only. We are experts at pricing out your kitchen project simply by asking you questions during a detailed phone call. We are 5 skilled Kitchen Designers with many years of experience planning kitchens around the Delaware Valley. And we are cabinet dealers for 8 nationally distributed cabinet lines much like traditional showrooms. Unlike full showrooms open to the general public, Main Line Kitchen Design works only by appointment. Appointments can be scheduled days, nights, and weekends either in your home or in our office and selection center. During office appointments we display clients kitchens on a flat screen TV and help them look through 100’s of sample door styles, almost a thousand sample finish blocks and sample kitchen cabinets. During home visits we can bring samples, take measurements, and make design changes on laptops showing you what your kitchen can look like in the very room being renovated. This is more convenient for our customers and it eliminates the expense of staffing and maintaining a larger space that is open to walk in traffic. We pass the significant savings on to our customers and so we sell cabinetry for less than other dealers, even home centers like Lowes and The Home Depot. Call today for a detailed estimate on your project over the phone.

"We reached out to Paul and his team at MLKD for help with our kitchen remodel, and they were so professional and detailed during our initial consult that we hired them right away. The MLKD team worked with us tirelessly to make the perfect design and also ensured the procurement and prompt delivery of our cabinets. They also recommended an excellent installation contactor, and we were just thrilled with the end product. Thank you Main Line Kitchen Design!"

"Had a technician come out to scope our drain line. He forgot the camera, so they had to return. The check was not cashed, so I feared this with all the fraud in the world this man had my check and could compromise the safety of it. Called 3X no return call Told me to call accounting and no one answered and the voicemail was not set up ??? Customer service is very, very bad. I would NEVER do business with them again!!!!"

THE HOME HERO posses’ superhuman skills for all your interior handyman projects, on any budget. We have up to 5 full time "HERO's" on staff, and several part-time "SIDE KICKS." We are always available to help you navigate the menacing underbelly of interior home improvement. All estimates are free of charge, and we give you a proposal that breaks down the cost of each task, so you have the freedom to pick and choose what you want done now or later. Best of all, we don't mark up the cost of materials. In fact, we even provide copies of the receipts with your final invoice. Lastly, as our reviews on our website state over and over again, we are meticulous in our craftsmanship, and fastidious about leaving your home cleaner then we found it!

"The OK: Towel bar had pulled out of the wall, that was reset and seems to be holding. Bedroom door that wasn't closing well was planed down at the top, I'm not really sure why I paid for that particular solution in retrospect, but was kind of buying into a grab bag, but fine. Kitchen counter caulked where it met the wall, again, not hard work, but fine. The Wasted Money: My front and back door sweeps seemed to have gaps you could see through to the outside and were coming apart. Since it's a pain to get under doors, I was good to pay a little extra for someone else to take that on. Replacement front sweep is already split again almost immediately. New back door sweep is still intact, but I guess as a "solution" the sill was raised and now there's a new gap there that the rain came through a few days ago. Also, under a section on my invoice somewhat brazenly labeled "custom carpentry" considering the end product, an estimate was given for replacing some of a wood rotted door frame as needed (even including "Reinstall brick molding as needed"). A lower piece of the frame was replaced with some solid wood, but it was seriously just cut out and hunk of wood thrown in. You can't miss it even at a glance, so we're at the barest definition of carpentry on that. But then on the top of the door, the wood was just dug out and replaced with layer after layer of putty. That's fine for a small job, but there was too much replacement needed here to not be replaced with actual wood. And the quote mentioning installing new wood and possibly brick molding was much more indicative of the work needed. The work performed still very much flexes at the touch and has started to visibly come apart again as any person would expect. And of course the shabby paint job done over it still leaves the "repair" very obvious as no effort was expended (or more likely wasn't in the capabilities of the "carpenter") to blend it with the frame. So a job that I very much paid to not be done, and that took a whole handful of visits even to be not completed. Also followed up with a plumbers referral from them and that worker also came up short as should be expected. Definitely would not transact with this company again."
