"Hired them for 3 projects I have installed this basement waterproofing solution in 2 homes. System speaks for itself. Nothing better on the market. Work was first rate. Expectations were presented prior to the project. Details on what would happen and how the project would go. Would not hesitate to use again ERV installed New basement egress. This project did not go as planned, but not at the fault of basement systems. Was originally supposed to get a BILCO door but due to unforseen issues, that was not able to happen. They ended up installing a new staircase from my basement to ground level. Work was first rate and ended up better than a bilco door. Company re landscaped and everything is as it was. "I had a small but complicated, hard to access, and structurally essential repair job on a 60-year-old concrete deck attached to my 280-year-old Pennsylvania limestone farmhouse. I contacted several masons listed for my area on Home Advisor, and included Mr. Grady as a long shot -- I read about his expertise with historical structures and wished I had access to such an expert craftsman, but I didn't think he'd be interested in my teeny job and assumed I wouldn't be able to afford him anyway. He was the first one to return my call and to look at the job, and I thought his price was fair. I believe now it was way more than fair, considering the time he spent. He did extensive research, going over a structural engineer's report I had done previously on the deck and even examining the original architectural drawings and materials invoices from 1959. He showed up at least three times to complete the repair in stages, and has been back a half a dozen times since then to check the job -- and my location is not exactly in his neighborhood. He accepted only enough payment in advance to pay for lodging for himself and his assistant when they stayed nearby one night in order to be there early the next morning. He gave and continues to give free advice about preserving my stone house and patio. If you prod him a little, he might even share some of his personal philosophy, earned over a lifetime of work that is clearly more of an art form than a job to him. Overall, I'd say you can hire one of many competent contractors and get an adequate job, or you can hire Mr. Grady and get superior work by someone who cares about your property as much as you do."

"I called Mike on Tuesday and he came out on Friday to diagnose the problem. He explained in detail why we had water in our basement and how he would fix it. They came the following week to fix it. They had to drill into the concrete inside our basement wall, lay a new pipe, and put new concrete over it. They also put new pipes outside our basement (connected to the downspout) to help the heavy downpour rains drain away from the house. They even pulled weeds at no extra cost- LOL. I definitely would hire Mike and his team again (hopefully we won't need to). They are top-notch and very clean."

"The front sidewalk that G&B Construction replaced for us is absolutely amazing and has held up well in both the hot and cold weather! George and his crew were very skillful at creating a slight curve in the sidewalk (before the turn was at a 90 degree angle) and a flare at the driveway that really makes the front sidewalk look so much more inviting and welcoming. They also banked the sidewalk for better drainage and raised it up so that there was a much smaller step up onto the front porch. The crew that came out to the house was very nice and professional! They worked really hard to keep the driveway clean while bringing loads of wet concrete to the sidewalk location. Rachel, the office manager, was also really helpful in getting this project organized. I am very happy that we hired G&B Construction and have shared our experience with our neighbors. If I need any more concrete work done, I will definitely call them again!"

"It seems to be fine, I will tell you I did have to wait a long time for them to come out I understand part of it had to do with weather. but because I was calling him it would take him a long time to get through to me. Then he said he would call back by the beginning of April and he didn't so then I called him back a few days later and he said oh yeah we're not send out to your area as yet because they work for different areas I guess different time, so that was a little bit of an issue. The work seem to be very good but for example they moved things they never moved them back, things like that I think are sort of problematic. What I'll give him credit for is I know there are a lot of people who work in masonry and in pointing and thing that they won't take on small jobs so I do have to give him credit for that."
