"We had multiple conversations with Roof King/Deck King on the scope of work before signing anything - to sand the entire deck, seal, and stain it. From the start, there was continuous miscommunication amongst themselves on progress and timeline. Stain/sealant was added on top of dirt and sanding fragments before sanding was even complete. This resulted in us terminating the stain/sealant piece of the listed contracted task and taking it on ourselves to ensure quality. Former exterior deck paint was left in spots where they essentially just called it quits. They left deep divots and knicks throughout deck where their crew was rushing to complete. Quality control was absent the entire length of the project along with false remediation promises. They seemed to only behave professionally when apologizing or when collecting payments. Owner responded that he would personally take care of these issues 6 weeks ago, but he has not responded to any texts or calls in the last 4 weeks."

"Will was very nice to start off with. He came willingly and gave us an estimate, as well as picked up our $2,600 cash deposit. Once the deposit was paid our level of responsiveness changed and we were always "next on the list." Will never did build our deck because he under bid the job and decided it wasn't worth his while. Where we are at today (one year later) - a police report is being filed today. Any theft over $1,000 is a felony in the State of Ohio and we just want our deposit back. "I needed new gutters and new facia boards installed. I also had additional splash guards and leaf guards installed. Their team was very efficient at installing the gutters and they work as well as I hoped. I have very obviously rotten wood in two areas behind the gutters. I had discussed this with both the person that came out to quote the job in advance, and with the crew lead before they started work, and a 2nd time with the crew lead as they were putting up the gutters later in the day. One of the rotten pieces is in the middle of a 30 foot run of gutters. I called one of the managers after the gutters were installed, and they sent a single person to try to correct this issue. The service tech was able to repair the rotten wood after the multiple trips."

"The job was supposed to be taken care of in one day. It ended up taking 4 days after we requested that the job be done correctly. Work crew was supposed to arrive at 9:00 and did not show up until 11:00. We asked the crew to repair the few items that we discussed with the owner and they did not know about it. They “finished” the job and that evening we were able to see out the our upstairs bedroom window that sections of the leaf guard were not there and a section was not attached. We called and the crew was to show up first thing in the morning. When they showed up at 3:30 my husband requested photos of all the gutters from the roof to make sure it was all done completely. There was a full section of the back of our house where there was no leaf guard attached at all. They also did not have enough wood for the trim and not enough leaf guard to repair that day. It was finally done and done well 4 days later, but it took a lot of follow up and double checking. The foreman was very apologetic, but I was upset that it took us finding an small error and we would have not even known about the large section of leaf guard that was not installed."
