"This was the best experience we have ever had with a contractor from start to finish (and that is saying something!). Shirley came to give us a quote and it was like your favorite aunt coming to visit. She is personable, knowledgeable, friendly and NOT PUSHY!!! She is down to earth and knows her stuff (she's been doing this for 35 years!) She measured every window in our house, pulled out her calculator and gave us a price...simple! The price she gave us never changed, and EVERYTHING she said would happen did. It took three weeks for the windows to be made (in NC!) and they are GORGEOUS! Jennifer, Shirley's daughter-in-law, runs the office and is SO PLEASANT and friendly. She called a couple of times to keep us posted on progress and to answer any questions we may have thought of. Every phone call was professional and enjoyable. Jacob, Shirley's son, and his helper, Kevin, came exactly on time and explained what there were doing. They were so easy to work with and have around the house, it was like your brothers were out working on the house. They were sweet to our dogs, watched out for our backyard chickens when they went in and out of the gate. and were generally awesome to deal with. We like to talk and be friendly with people that come to the house to work, and the four of us just hit it off. We LOVE Jacob! I can't wait until he comes back to replace our siding next year. My recommendation? DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT HIRING ANYONE ELSE! Shirley's quote was LESS THAN HALF of the one we got from Reece Builders, and that didn't include the large bay window. The customer service is OUTSTANDING! This is a good quality and HONEST company... hard to find!"

"After stripping the old roof, a few of the underlying boards required replacement. Those rate for those repairs were estimated in the original quote and were reasonably priced. My roof is a fairly simple gabled roof with limited penetration; but, I was still surprised that they were able to finish in one day. A co-worker of mine had previously used this company to replace his roof and was pleased. I'm pleased too. Recommend."

"The employee who did the initial roof clean up was professional and, in fact, went above and beyond the work that was scheduled. Also, the supervisor who came to provide an estimate for replacing was also professional but pleasant. In addition, he was thoroughly knowledgeable an answered all the questions I had. "Our is 2.5 storey and steep roof. Owner visited and without getting on roof told me that you need to replace 2 flashings. The house is 9 years old and according to him ( I am not sure) it is better to replace flashing after 10-12 years any way. I think flashing should have same about 30 years life of roof. However, I accepted the recommendation as cost was $150. Also, I don't think they inspected or did anything on other side of the roof. He sent Brian in the following week to carry out work. Brian is really hardworking honest guy. He spent about 4 hours on roof to replace flashing and nail down singhles on one side of roof. I was not happy since they didn't even look at other side of roof. Since my $200 +79 was worth their effort of 4 hours I am OK with the service provided. However, I felt that they are giving this deal to generate more business. and chnging of flushing was not necessary. Anyway I was happy with Brian and hence I am giving A other wise I would have given B."

After we talked, I was able schedule quickly. The crew arrived on time and was able to finish the roof in one day. The crew even cleaned and scanned the yard for any nails or debris. "I needed all the wooden cabinets, shelves, and workbenches removed from the walls of my basement so that a waterproofing system could be put in. I then needed that to be all reinstalled so that it hung from the joists and did not perforate the plastic waterproofing sheeting that was placed over the walls. This job went fantastically well! Tom got back to me right away, was able to come right away, and really saved my bacon to get me ready for the water-proofing installation right on time. He put in a big day's work putting everything back better than it was before and came up with inventive ways to reinstall everything so that it wouldn't perforate the sheeting. Without him, I wouldn't have even thought it possible to reinstall everything. Tom was really easy to work with, did what he said he would (and better) and did it on time. He's the best!"

I had checked all references that Ricky Flores had provided and all checked out very well.  In my 30 years in the US, I have dealt with many contractors and Ricky Flores is by far the best I have dealt with. He was clear in his communications, kept me up to date on the progress of the job etc.  The team that completed the job did a excellent job, all professional and thorough. Replacing a roof is a messy business but you would not know that we had our roof replaced except for the visual.  I highly recommend R Flores Roofing.
