"Foundation repair for detached garage. Relatively simple job, but happy with the results and how the crew conducted themselves when on my property. Would hire again, and recommend as well."

"Wow! What an amazing experience from start to finish! Everyone from FSS showed up when they said they would, were very knowledgeable, and communicated everything very carefully and honestly. There was no discrepancy between what the estimator (Ryan) promised and what the leveling crew (David, Christian, and Blake) said they could do (and what they did) to re-level my concrete pad. I’m very happy with the results and the entire experience. After dealing with other companies and various contractors for many years, this was a refreshing experience! Highly recommend!"

"Sales staff, the installation was great. The steel pier approach seems much better system than concrete piers. The pier installation seemed like a very professional job however, the restoration of the flower beds or finish work was horrible. Plants were left up rooted. I had an in-ground working drip system and they disconnected it and just thew it on top of the flower beds... no attention to detail. I highly recommend the steel pier system but the finish work sucks..."

"I talked to Chad, the owner who is very polite, on the phone and stated that I had stumps that needed grinding promptly. He said he had a guy who could take care of it the same day if I liked the bid. Todd was the gentleman who showed up to bid and grind the stumps. He was punctual, polite and a very hard worker. He gave me the bid of $200 to do all the stumps and it took him about 3.5 hours. He never stopped for a break in 97 degree heat and got it all done and did a great job cleaning up. I will definitely call back in the spring when I redo the landscape in my backyard."

"They did an outstanding job. They showed up on time and did everything in a day.  They installed everything correctly, fixing the builders errors in building the driveway.  They did what they needed to do.  Even though the drain may have given them more trouble than they were expecting.  Everything works beautifully. The price quoted was exactly what I paid. Some of my neighbors have even started planning on using them."

"Everything went so smoothly. I got the foundation inspected and it needed repair. I got the estimate and scheduled the work. They called the day before the work was to start to answer any questions I had. The work team arrived earlier than I expected by about 10 to 30 minutes. They finished installing 19 piers and leveling the house in 1 1/2 days. They put everything back the way it was when they started and did a walk around with me to make sure I was satisfied. This company is honest and courteous and very easy to work with."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Pilot Point, TX

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
