"I cannot say enough about the performance of this company. Everything we asked of them was completed to perfection! We had major problems with water damage on the roof, and flooring that needed to be leveled. They paid careful attention to my vision of a new gable and completed that beyond my expectations, and now my floor is also nice and level. My kitchen cabinets were painted beautifully. There were so many other repairs they took care of for us and all were performed with expert skill and care. Every quote was reasonably priced so we never felt the need to negotiate a lower quote. They always showed up on time, and put in a full days work everyday. After everything was completed and they had left, we would have never known we had work done. Everything was picked up and clean. They even ran a big magnet over the yard making sure nails and screws were not left behind from the roofing project. These are gentlemen, all four of them. Never heard cussing and there was not inappropriate behavior. They couldn’t tell me enough how much they appreciated our business, imagine that! Asked if I would use them again for work, “big or small”, ABSOLUTELY!! I have already asked them to please schedule a time to build a new dock for our lake and a back porch deck. "Two upstairs back-to-back bathrooms were totally remodeled including taking both back to the studs, moving a wall and all the plumbing, changing out the electric hot water heater for a tankless system and removing a ceiling in the room below the baths. These baths both originally contained tubs and the remodel enlarged the master bath and changed it to a walk-in shower and the other bath remained a tub bath. All fixtures were replaced with new and a pocket door was added to the common bathroom wall allowing both adjoining bedrooms access to both bathrooms. <br /> <br />Our selections included some more expensive fixtures which inflated the costs of the contract. The demolition, hot water heater replacement and the majority of the work went as planned. Unfortunately, the cabinets were delayed due to equipment problems but once they arrived, they were very well built. With the cabinet delay all the other trades who required the cabinets in place to continue were pushed out and we lost our place with a number of the subcontractors creating an overall delay. Ron did his best to get the subs to work us back into their schedules as soon as possible, but the completion was slightly later than we expected. <br /> <br />Ron is a detail oriented consummate professional. We were very surprised and pleased with all of the subcontractors he used - not only in the quality of work but the individuals who were in our home. All were considerate and very respectful. Those employees of Ron that worked in our home were very accommodating and courteous. Not one of the people who I met in our home gave me any concern for the safety of my possessions or left me doubtful about being in the home alone with them. (I have a considerable job history with various construction related businesses and this is very unusual that even the employees of the subs did not give us any concern.) <br /> <br />The completed work is wonderful and is how we imagined the finished project would be. We are extremely pleased. The budget seemed a little high at the onset but we had heard such wonderful things about Ron we wanted him to do the work. The little extra we contracted for paid for a very high quality product and the satisfaction of knowing the work was done correctly. <br /> <br />We will use Ron again if we ever need additional renovation work. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"<strong>About 8 years ago</strong> we needed the roof replaced on an older house that we had purchased. After getting some recommendations we went with Danny. Responded quickly, gave a fair estimate, scheduled the date. Here's what surprised me - I came home in the evening of the scheduled date and saw no debris container in the driveway. I was like "Oh Great, the guy didn't show". Then I looked up at the roof and was completely new. Crazy. Talked to my stay-at-home neighbor and she said "Yeah, they had like 12 guys up there, took them a few hours" . Again, Crazy. Really good job, only complaint was that there were A LOT of spilled nails in the yard that I had to clean up.  <br /> <strong>Round 2</strong> - Fast forward to Early November of 2015 - lots of rain - could see a stain in the ceiling of the sunroom. Not overly concerning, but needing attention. Sent a couple of guys out, couldn't figure it out. Rains that night, bigger stain. Took another 3 or 4 day of me pestering him before the next rain to get them to respond again. The same guys came out, seemingly figured it out and after they had left, Danny himself came by to check on it, no charge of course. So far, so good. <br /> So, to sum up - <br /> <strong>Initial service</strong> - Prompt, well done, fairly priced (see above clean up caveat)  <br /> <strong>Follow Up Service</strong> - A little slow, not particularly efficient, but no charge... <br />"

"Roger was the one who put the cabinets in and he was wonderful...he was punctual it was the cabinets were not.  The cabinets are honey maple with special cutting and finishes requested.  We did get everything we asked for.  Evidently the problem , which we were unaware of for a few weeks, was that with the special finishes and cutting we requested the person who does this was backed up on his work and if I understood correctly it required a certain type of blade.  This put a 1-2 weeks delay on the installation of the cabinets.  Noting could progress until the cabinets were in.  The backsplash, granite, sinks, etc. could not be put in until the cabinets were in, which put a hold on all of the rest of the contract workers.  At the time it was a mess to have only one working sink...in the kitchen and none in the bathrooms.  With that said I have posted pictures under Affordable Handyman, Jason Kilgore, of the finished product.  The quality, finish and look is unbelievably beautiful.  Their work is outstanding and even with the delays I would definitely use them again.  My husband look at them all the time and say "we have the best looking cabinets in Columbus, Georgia.  For fun we go to open houses and even the high end ones $500,000 and up do not have cabinets that can compare to ours. So thank you for what we consider art work.  If I can figure out how to do it again I will post pictures on their website here on Angie's list. <br />"
