"I got a prompt return phone call and set up a time/date for an estimate. I had several small jobs (install fixtures, outlets, and a repair) as well as the installation of landscape lighting. The work was scheduled for later that week and the electrician came on time. The landscape lighting was a fairly large job and was completed in two days. The other small jobs were done as well. I'm very pleased with the quality of the work. Everything was done perfectly, in an amazingly short time from first inquiry to completion. I own a number of rental properties and will call Prodigy for work on my apartment buildings."

"Looking for an ELECTRICIAN? Definitely call PLANTS ELECTRICAL SERVICES, LLC. 724-678-8216, Dillan Plants. Dillan is good, intelligent, a good worker and reasonably priced. Very knowledgeable. He pinpointed our problem on a few minutes. He is just starting out on his own but don't be afraid to try him. And he is local. I can't thank him enough."

"Nate was very helpful. I do not consider myself to be handy at all, if I did this I'm sure I would have flooded my kitchen. In no time at all, a couple of hours he was able to install a new faucet. The hot and cold water is running perfect, no leaks. Nate was very courteous, he got back to me quickly, and was fantastic to work with."

"He called me back almost immediately. He was clear and gave details for his work estimate and held to it when the work was completed. He went out of his way to advise the best products for my ceiling fan repair. My job was very small and he could have brushed it off but he was on time and spent time on the repair as well as explaining to me how to maintain the light fixture. I thought he was great and would definitly contact him again."

"Dom was professional, very nice, efficient and reasonable. Just hire him! Even fixed a separate issue that could have caused hazard unbeknownst to us. My family and I are thankful and will hire him for any and all future projects."

"He was clear with explaining upfront the work to be performed and the schedule. He took care during the project to minimize impact to us, and to minimize dust. We are very pleased with the craftsmanship, for example: after removing ceramic tiles which were original to the home, he repaired the walls and applied skim coats of plaster such that the wall was perfectly smooth before priming for painting. Pricing was as we had agreed in advance, and he was easy to work with."

Electricians do a fair amount of larger remodeling and new construction projects but also common residential projects including:
For cost information related to the above tasks, visit our Electrical Cost Guide.
A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
4. How to Prepare & What to Know Before the Electrician ArrivesPittsburgh Electricians are rated 0.0 out of 5 based on 0 reviews of 0 pros.
