He called back and said he would be able to come the next day to fix the gate, which he did! He came Thursday and repaired the fence to our gate within an hour! "I got 3 quotes for the work that I needed done.  Andy was by far the most professional.  He told me in detail what he would do, including the filling of holes in the new woodwork and the finish  painting.  I am an older person so he secured all the materials, painted them in his shop and brought them to my home ready to install.   He maintained high standards for his work, returned several times to make sure holes were properly filled and did not show before he did the final painting.  He did an outstanding job, and being a bit of a perfectionisit I am not easy to please.  My foyer has all new woodwork and it makes a huge difference in how my place looks from entry.  I would recommend Andrew highly."

"The work is impeccable! I had my basement waterproofed about 6 months ago. We had one of the rainiest seasons I have ever seen in my 20 years living in Indiana. I have not had a DROP of water enter my basement, even on the heaviest rains since we had Advanced do our basement waterproofing. Marty is very knowledgeable. The quote given was the price we paid! The crew did an excellent job and left our basement better than they found it. It took a couple of days, but the work was done right and the workers were professional. "Personnel arrived at the scheduled time.  I had a list of jobs prepared and walked through the house with them.  Began work immediately.  I do not have knowledge of what materials may be needed to complete a specific repair.  Therefore, I was relieved when the repair man offered to go to Lowe's and pick up those supplies. We paid for those supplies in addition to the cost of Angie's List Deal previously purchased.  However, we expected that.  Workers did not exceed the time limit and cleaned up after themselves upon completion of work.

"Carl was terrific - we had originally bought a special deal for 3 hours of service, but came up with 8 hours of work - he replaced and secured several shutters which had fallen off, and noticed several were loose, so he fixed those too.  He also secured a pedestal sink in the hall bathroom, fixed shorts in a light in the bathroom as well as in a coach light outside, reattached a downspout to the house and made a ceramic ring for the chimney flu in our attic so we could get additional insulation installed.  He was very knowledgeable and very service oriented.  He typically does more remodeling than handyman service, but does some handyman work in between other jobs.  He is really good!
