"The services rendered we're actually better than expected. We called because the basement was flooded and had standing water for a period of time and we suspected mold had started to build. Max (the owner/team leader) came out, inspected the basement and reported his findings to us, which ended up being worse than we had anticipated (mold and ASBESTOS). The team was able to start the four day project two days earlier than expected and instead of a four day project they completed the work in two days. They did an amazing job! The basement is now dry, mold and asbestos free! It look like a brand new basement. They had the dumpster brought in and threw out the furniture etc that was in the basement and left no debris behind. When asked if we would use their services again, that would be an absolute YES! "From the initial estimate to the actual work performance, everything went very smoothly. I discovered multiple areas of mold behind wood paneling that was removed, which prompted the phone call to Moldman. They came out to assess the problem, took photos, and I received a quote later that same day. Scheduling was easy. The day of removal, the team was on time, once again looked at all the areas, went into further detail about what would be done, and then started the job. Afterwards, they showed me everything they did, and I noticed the place was even cleaner in areas prior to when the work was started. They removed the bottom two feet of all drywall (looks like it was damaged by flooding in the past), treated all affected areas with disinfectant and then applied an anti fungal encapsulant, and even painted over the concrete walls where staining occurred. Plus, they took all the wood paneling I had previously removed with them when they left. Overall wonderful job, and if I every encounter a mold problem again, I now know who to call."

"Bob was referred to me by a friend who lives in Chicago and had Mold problems.  My friend told me how pleased he was with Bob, so after i did my own air quality test (hard to read them by there was some elevated counts in my basement) and I also wanted to have my attic looked at too.  I emailed Bob and he responded quickly and offered to do come out to give me an estimate the next day.   <br /> He arrived on time.  <br /> He took off his shoes to walk a few steps my basement door. <br /> He had a flashlight and was looking at all the rafters and walls.  *I had already done some cleaning on the walls.  <br /> I told him how I found a few very old items with some mold on them (roller skates, old typewriter case and work gloves). Bob told me he did not see any issues on the rafters or anything else, but he started to point out items where there was some mold on the back of a cardboard poster and two chairs (one had cloth and the other was wood), so I told him I will trow them away. He also so a few boxes I had with water damage marks on them should be tossed.   <br /> Next he went into my attic and said my vents from my two upstairs bathrooms need to be vented through the attic.  When I asked, he provided me with a referral.  He did not see a need to do anything in the attic.   <br /> So I was expecting estimates, but instead I now knew the problem could be cleared up by tossing more of my junk. cleaning the basement, using a dehumidifier to keep moisture down and if I wanted to I can also place a low cost hepa filter air cleaner. <br /> I felt bad as he came and did this free while other would have charged me.  When I said this to him, he said he rather not charge me for something I did not need, as his business is based on referrals.  I found him by asking a friend, so if a friend had an issues, I would recommend him. <br /> f./He did not ask me to do this, but when he was leaving - I told him I am part of Angie's List so I told him I will make a recommendation for him. <br />"
