"Excellent- I was referred to Clint by another flooring company -Jaime C flooring -due to his location and quality. Clint contacted me right away and came over to give me a quote. He was prompt with scheduling and his guys were excellent. they arrived on time, were courteous and clean. They did fantastic work. They removed the carpet, took off the railing and balusters and constructed the staircase and was able to use the existing railing and balusters. the staircase looks beautiful. I would recommend them highly! After they constructed the staircase Jaime C flooring then came in and sanded and finished the wood to match the rest of the flooring. Over all I am very pleased with their service and professionalism."

"This company was as professional as the come, laying out all expectations on the front end regarding cost/time and not deviating from it. No delays. No hidden costs. The quality of the work impressed me with their superior straight lines and attention to detail. They were great to work with! I for one will be using them as my go-to painters in the future."

"Everyone thought it was weird to "get new stairs" but it has truly elevated (pun intended) the look of our early 90's home (check out our before and after photos!). Chris was extremely helpful from our first email to job completion. He helped us pick materials for the contemporary look we were going for and made suggestions to keep costs down. His installation team was also extremely professional, meticulous and courteous. We are thrilled with the finished product. I wish we had more stairs they could do for us! Note: Chris's team did not do the painting or staining - that had to be done by other contractors we hired separately. We highly recommend Aaron's Touchups & Restoration and Sun Painting."

"Fantastic! Patrick Pearson, our salesman, showed us several types of roofing that he recommended, and we chose a DaVinci roof, which was beautiful. The work was completed in 3.5 days without a glitch. Patrick has a dedicated crew of 8, all of whom worked very hard and very well together. (The same crew has been with Patrick for 8 years.) They also assigned a quality control person who regularly checked with us and kept a close eye on the work. The result is amazing! My husband and I agree that we've NEVER had such great customer service. During the work, a couple of people came by to get Patrick's contact information; one of them said they had been watching how well the crew worked together and were very impressed."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Plano, TX

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
