"I'll start out by saying that I thought being a veteran owned company they would be OK. I chose them because I was looking for a company that would be able to do other jobs around the house. I think their price was a little high, but I am not able to do these kinds of projects anymore, so I chose them. I should have looked up the prices for all the parts they purchased, but I didn't until after the fact, because I don't believe the amount they charged for the items equals the amount they charged. The manager of the company is very nice and I believe he knows what he is doing. The person who came out to do the projects was nice and was very friendly with my father, who has dementia. The person who came out put on new weather seal on the bottom of the garage door, lubed the rollers and the chain, and put some more weather seal around the door frame of the door in the garage. He did inform me that there was wood rot on the door, so we are going to have to get a new door someday. I felt sorry for him doing it on a cold day. He replaced a burnt-out electric outlet in my father's room. I thought that he was going to turn off the breaker for that, but he didn't, and when he removed the burnt-out outlet, it actually started on fire which he put out by blowing on it. Now, I am a little leery of the circuit, so I am going to have an electrician come to check it. He also replaced a part in the shower that holds the hand-held shower head. It worked fine for a day. I contacted the company, and they had the person come back out. He showed up that day to look at the problem. He fooled around with it but couldn't make it stop leaking. I thought he said that he was going to go get something else and come back, but he never did. I was under the impression that he was going to replace the shower arm and the handheld shower because that's what the parts list said. I would like to give the company a 3.5 to 4. I don't believe I will use them again. I think I am going to be better off just calling whatever kind of company I need to fix something."

"JD came out because we have 4 crank windows and one was not working.  We also had a bedroom window that didn't appear to be sealed properly.  He ended up walking around and looking at each window in the house to evaluate any issues and he repaired the 1 crank window.  He provided an estimate to replace 1 and repair another.  We hired him and he ordered the window.  All of his reviews were great but when we went to put the deposit down he had us make the check out to a person.  Then when we received an email about the deposit it had a different persons name in it and it didn't match the original name.  I called him and asked him about it because it made me a little uncomfortable.  He communicated that he had a company taking care of his books some years back and they stole from him and it resulted in bad credit in the company name so the way around that over the years had been to make the check out to his mom or whomever but because she was going to be on vacation when my check arrived he had given me another name which I think was his sisters.  Not a big deal after all and I appreciated his honesty.  When he came back to do the actual work they were very professional and very thorough.  Clean up was excellent.  I would highly recommend them.

"This guy is phenomenal. My son’s front door was water damaged & rotting. Aaron explained to fix the problem the door frame needed replacement. His price was completely reasonable considering the scope of the job. The door also had an exterior weather door that caused an unexpected issue when re-installing. Aaron did amazing work to fabricate a perfect solution. He was prompt, friendly & completely trustworthy throughout all encounters. "We had shopped around quite a bit before we decided to go with Continental Siding, mainly because of the appearance with the seamless siding and the quality of the materials. We were also impressed by the patented installation process that allows for expansion and contraction of the siding. The preparation of the house prior to the actual installation was over and above the competitors. We liked the added insulation value to our home with the styrofoam backing that formed to the exterior siding and also provided additional support. As the project began we were impressed by the professionalism of the installation crew and their willingness to listen to any concerns that we may of had, which were always resolved. Very happy with the final product and no regrets going with Continental Siding. Would certainly recommend them."

Ryan and his team were very professional.  They showed up in a timely fashion and they picked up the trash and debris from the old windows promptly.  Andy and the team worked very hard to get the installation done and they checked with me to verify that I was pleased with the job before they left.  Ryan gave me a follow up call to see if I was pleased with the work and has offered to come by if there are any additional questions or concerns.  This was a good experience, and I would highly recommend their work.

"Ron Scott, owner of White Dog Painting, came out in late September to see what was needed and prepare an estimate to repair siding, wood rot, and paint my home. While walking around the house, he has some smart ideas on how to prepare the fascia and trim to prevent further wood rot. He provided an estimate. It was complete and White Dog was hired to make repairs and paint the home. White Dog showed up in early October to begin. The crew arrived promptly at 9AM and worked until dark for several days. White Dog repaired and replaced trim, chalked and prepared the surfaces for painting. The crew spray painted and it looked great. There were only two issues that came up during the painting. 1. They used two different brands/colors of siding, and the darker siding appeared to have already been painted another color. Ron Scott assured me both were new siding, but still waiting on receipts showing he made 2 separate purchases of new siding rather than using scraps from another job. 2. The really good ideas Ron had on making adjustments to the trim, fascia were never conveyed to the crew and I had to press the crew myself to get those adjustments made on, literally, the last day of their work. As good as the finished paint job and repairs looked; the unskilled approach to the other details soured the experience. The trim was screwed into the window itself rather than the frame. Of the 11 windows painted, 8 were ‘painted shut’ making them inoperable. The storm windows and door were ‘slapped’ back on, leaving large air gaps between the storm doors/windows and frames. Of the 4 outdoor lights the removed (before painting) then reattached; only two worked. The other two had not been wired correctly. Worst, the home has a steel roof and Ron had assured me his crew knew how to operate on a steel roof. They did not. They left 4 trails of dents and damage across the roof as they painted the dormer. Ron assured me that White Dog was committed to making things right. Two months went by and White Dog never came out to inspect the damage or send their insurance agent. Once I got an estimate for the repairs, I told him the amount and the roofing company to make the check out to. No check. When I insisted he turn it over to his insurance, because he advertises on his website and Angie’s List that he is insured, no response. I complained to the BBB and received an email from Ron that he had given all my information to his insurer and they would contact me. After almost 6 months, still no phone call or resolution from White Dog Painting or contact from an insurance company. I had to have the roof repaired on my own."
