"Overall, pleased with the results. It was a significant & complex job for a "handyman". A combination of scope creep and underestimating led to some delays and overages along the way. I do think the crew could improve teamwork to ensure communication and boost efficiency. "They did kitchen wall modification (removal and finishing) included the kitchen cabinet removal and rearrangement. Also they removed the ceramic tiles on the kitchen floor and replaced with the wood floor. They are very professional, kind, and detail. They started and completed the project on time as proposed schedule. The communication was very good. Phil (owner of Company) checked and discussed with me daily basis (morning time) for the project progress. They did excellent works. My wife and I are very happy for what they are done. "We've had an intermittent roof leak for years, Gary could have sold us a new roof, instead he repaired our leak with a minimum of fuss and expense and repaired a few loose and broken shingles as well. <br /> The work was performed on time, as described. They cleaned up all their mess and left not so much as a cigarette butt. <br /> Highly professional, will use them in the future and would recommend them. <br />"

"Remodeling was done in summer of 2011 and everything finished up in spring of 2013. Between those dates I completely repainted house inside and painted kitchen cabinets (hardest jobs I ever did!). I had to take off in the spring of 2012 due to sciatica problems. <br /> I found Jim Mongold on Angie's List during June of 2011. He had excellent reviews although he didn't have as many reviews as some others. I figured I would help him out by using him and giving him another good review. Jim Mongold always came at 9:00 and generally left at 4:00, almost always working unsupervised. He made numerous recommendations to save me time and money. Jim was never tardy, always showed up on the day scheduled, and was a delight to work with. Jim is quiet and has a gentle sense of humor, and he knows what he's doing. I strongly recommend him and intend to use him again when I get ready to remodel my current house."
