"When I need to replace my wooden privacy fence two years ago, Robert came out and provided a detailed plan for the removal and installation of the new fence. The project was scheduled on my timeline and the guys who did the work were very skilled and had excellent customer service. He came out and looked at the fence and within two business days, I had someone at my house replacing the planks and per Robert, no charge. "We called Hill Country Fence and Ranch at the beginning of April to ask if someone could come and give us an estimate for the work we wanted to have done. Tyler came out the very next day, a Friday, and by the beginning of the following week we had the estimate. After some thought, we decided to drop an item from the initial proposal to save a little money, got back to him, and he immediately sent a new estimate for our review. In our case, we needed to have a survey done and, once we had this taken care of, we got back in touch with Tyler to let him know we were good to go. We were then added to their schedule and were sent a link that we could use to monitor where we were in the queue. The list was continuously updated as work progressed on the many jobs ahead of us. The work on our project started on July 9 and ran for three days straight. The projected start was for a couple of weeks earlier, but that would have coincided with a trip we had out the country and we wanted to be around during the actual work in case there were any issues that arose. On Day One, a three-man crew with materials and equipment arrived punctually and got immediately to work tearing down the old split-rail and privacy fencing, loading it up for hauling off, beginning to drill the holes for the posts, and getting a start on erecting the new cedar split rail. On Day Two, the crew delivered galvanized steel posts and brackets, plus the cedar pickets for the 6' privacy fence. One crew member began work on installing the privacy fence, while the other two continued installing the split rail. All fence posts, metal and wood, were installed in concrete. On Day Three, work continued on both the privacy fence and split rail until completion. The crew worked extremely hard throughout the project in high heat and humidity and did an excellent job. Several neighbors have already commented on how beautiful the new fencing looks. We will certainly recommend Hill Country Fence and Ranch to anyone we hear of looking to have this type of work done."

"<p>The crew started work on 9/9/14 with a start up demolition of the old decks.  They appeared at the time promised and worked consistently throughout the project.  Just as the large deck flooring was nearing completion, JR noticed 3 planks that were not consistent in color.  He ordered more to insure top quality on the project.  I had wondered if he would use the old deck supports and/or some of the sound fence support posts.  No, this was a completely new installation of decks and fence.  One of the fence support posts was so sound that the crew could not get it out of the ground.  Hence they had to cut it to the ground level to allow installation of a new post.  We are very pleased with our new decks and fence.  He hauled away the demolished materials and the crew cleaned up before leaving the last day, which was 9/16/14.  I can totally agree with JR's rating on Angie's list and would recommend him for any deck, roof, fence or other work. </p> <br />"

"While Adam, Dennis?s son, is still learning, Dennis Rampersaud is the stand-up business owner of Dominion Fences & Decks who <br /> will make sure you are happy with his product.  He cares that you are happy with your investment and stands by his work.  He is a military veteran.  The workers were hard working and pleasant.  I plan on asking Dennis to perform other work for me in the future.  His website is www.dominionfencesanddecks.com. <br /> My fence was the standard pine tract home fence installed when I purchased my new home eleven years ago.  The slats were warping and deteriorated.  Some rails were barely attached and cracked completely through.  After reading many reviews on Dominion Fences and Decks, I came to the conclusion that the few bad reviews out of the many positive reviews might be the result of a young inexperienced company representative and/or difficult unrealistic customers.  I decided to  purchase the $99 fence repair Big Deal from Dominion Fences and Decks mainly to get an estimate for repairs and reattach some slats until I could decide what to do.  The son, Adam, came to my house to discuss the Big Deal I had purchased.  Together we surveyed the fence and more problems were found behind the large bushes.  At my request, he gave me two estimates: 1) for repairs and 2) for a completely new fence using my choice of pressure-treated cedar or redwood.  He also showed me colors of fence stain.  I decided to replace the fence rather than repair it.  I copied the estimate and took it to each of my three neighbors (two sides at 90 linear feet and one side at 56 linear feet).  They chose to get their own estimates, but later came back to me agreeing to use Dominion Fences & Decks.  The job took a little longer than the three days originally estimated.  None of the neighbors has complained about the quality of the fence, and one has told me it is beautiful.  To me and my children, the fence looks beautiful and the redwood smell is fabulous.  I never thought a fence was that important aesthetically, but what a beautiful backdrop for my yard. <br /> <br /> <br />"
