"We installed a Patio Enclosures sunroom on our home 16 years ago to extend the seasons we could enjoy our patio and to keep mosquitoes and inclement weather at bay. The enclosure has performed well through 16 years, complimenting our home’s aesthetic appeal, and increasing its resale value. Now that we’re building a new home we definitely included a three season enclosure in our plan. It was a pleasure working with Andrew Mulichak in the West Seneca, NY office who helped us design an enclosure to compliment our new home’s appearance and add to its functionality, making it feel like an extension of our home. We look forward to the convenience and functionality the enclosure will add to our new home. And we know we can rely on a quality product with expert installation. We highly recommend Patio Enclosures."

"We discovered Sunroomescapes at a Homeshow, we got an estimate from them and one other contruction co.. We chose Sunroomescapes because the owner of the Co. came out to give us an estimate for a 16X16 4 seasons room with no pressure to buy. Rick was professional.
We had an existing roof and floor supports because it was previously a screened in porch and all the supports were not exactly square. They squared everything up (which took some time to do) and installed the room. It took a total of 5 weeks but we had some rainy days and some very windy days when they couldn't work.
The workers were very friendly and trustworthy.

We are very happy with the overall experience, we hardly know what the rest of the house looks like because we spend so much time in our sunroom. We have heating and cooling so we can enjoy our room year round.

I would not hesitate to recommend Sunroomescapes.

Kathy Gillman"

"We have hired Premier Construction for 2 previous projects and we thoroughly enjoy working with them. Adam and his team always go the extra mile to ensure a job completed to our satisfaction. Although we love Premier, we hope this is our last job on our house, as we have hired them 3 times for large projects. We highly recommend Premier Construction."

"Crew showed up at 07:10 am and began immediately. Foreman was excellent and kept crew on task the entire time. I have a large roof (45 squares) and I never thought they would get it done in one day. They finished roofing job at 07:30 pm including excellent job cleaning up. Yes found some nails, but considering how many were taken off, give them an A for the clean up. Went with oversized gutters and they look really nice. So far, very happy with them. Superior Exteriors was great to work with, especially Ryan Thank you Superior Exteriors!!"

"I was very happy with the siding. They did a nice stuff. The work was not fast because it was just one person doing the siding, but he did a nice job. The windows were heavy with the windows. They replaced the windows. We were not happy with the windows. They didn't finish on time. The man who came to do the job didn't do a good job. They didn’t paint the windows and left it half finished. The pricing is a little bit on the high side."

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in Pleasantville, IA

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
