"We installed a Patio Enclosures sunroom on our home 16 years ago to extend the seasons we could enjoy our patio and to keep mosquitoes and inclement weather at bay. The enclosure has performed well through 16 years, complimenting our home’s aesthetic appeal, and increasing its resale value. Now that we’re building a new home we definitely included a three season enclosure in our plan. It was a pleasure working with Andrew Mulichak in the West Seneca, NY office who helped us design an enclosure to compliment our new home’s appearance and add to its functionality, making it feel like an extension of our home. We look forward to the convenience and functionality the enclosure will add to our new home. And we know we can rely on a quality product with expert installation. We highly recommend Patio Enclosures."

"Buresh provided excellent customer service, a quality product, and a reasonable price for the work done. I thought that I needed to have new gutters on my detached garage also, but Brian told me that he could work with the existing gutters on the structure to accomplish my goals. I was extremely appreciative that he did not try to sell me something that I didn't need. The team who came to install the gutters were prompt, courteous, and left the property cleaned up better than how they found it. I will definitely be calling Buresh again. Thanks for the great work!"

"After seeing their product at the Minneapolis Home & Garden show we were convinced that this was the right product for our porch improvement work. The guys from EZ-Screen brought samples to our home to help us select frame color and installation method. They took careful measurements of all of the window and door openings and put our order in motion. A few weeks later our windows and door were delivered. <br /> <br /> We did this work at the same time we had some exterior siding work done by another contractor. We arranged to have that contractor do the actual installation of the EZ-Screen product. The rep from EZ-Screen came out to our site when the installation started to ensure that our contractor understood how to properly install the windows and door. Everything went smoothly and contractor commented on how easy the windows went in. <br /> <br /> After three full seasons of use we still enjoy the product and we're pleased that we chose this as part of our porch renovation. It has added several additional months to our porch usage in our short Minnesota summer seasons. I highly recommend this product for any new screen porch or porch renovation job!"

"We discovered Sunroomescapes at a Homeshow, we got an estimate from them and one other contruction co.. We chose Sunroomescapes because the owner of the Co. came out to give us an estimate for a 16X16 4 seasons room with no pressure to buy. Rick was professional. <br /> We had an existing roof and floor supports because it was previously a screened in porch and all the supports were not exactly square. They squared everything up (which took some time to do) and installed the room. It took a total of 5 weeks but we had some rainy days and some very windy days when they couldn't work. <br /> The workers were very friendly and trustworthy. <br /> <br /> We are very happy with the overall experience, we hardly know what the rest of the house looks like because we spend so much time in our sunroom. We have heating and cooling so we can enjoy our room year round. <br /> <br /> I would not hesitate to recommend Sunroomescapes. <br /> <br /> Kathy Gillman"

"The addition went well and we were in after about 7 weeks - it would have been sooner but there were some weather issues (of course).  The remodeling section went OK, but there were a few hiccups.  Adam and his crew were great and friendly, but some of the subcontractors he uses were not giving us the time and attention that we felt we deserved with a project this size.  There were a few times where we had Adam call them back in so they could get it right.  The drywallers left CRAZY messes (mostly from our popcorn ceilings being scraped but seriously, we are trying to live there), and the electricians would come, leave, come back a couple of days or week later, leave again - just never getting the thing done. One part involving the video lines was drug on for over a month while work went on around it. <br /> When it came to the interior finish, which is Premier's crew, they were awesome.  We love the look of the remodel and our new kitchen is amazing.  The workers, Mike, Jessie, Curt, and Tim did great and they finished everything in a timely manner.  My kids felt totally fine around them and they would take time to chat with my family and pet the dogs.  <br /> We did have some miscommunications at the end with some punch list items but those were resolved eventually.  However, during the whole process, Adam was always available via email, text, or phone. <br /> Even with the subcontractor issues I described, I would not hesitate to use Premier again and I have referred a couple of coworkers and friends to them.  This was a very large project and now that we are all done and have been living in it for a few months, we LOVE it.  We get many compliments from friends and family.  Honestly, we wish we would have done this years ago...  :) <br /> I have given Adam permission to use us as a reference and please feel free to ask him for it and call if we can help give you more information. <br />"

"Nick and Michele were amazing to work with. They listened to what we wanted and helped us come up with the best way to achieve it. They worked hard and our new deck was completed in a short amount of time. We love our deck and enjoy all of the room it has now. Thank you for all of you’ve done! We would definitely recommend Planurbuild for any deck needs!"

"I can't begin to tell you how wonderful this company and specifically Joe Meyers. I called Superior Exteriors because of the Angie's List rating and they didn't disappoint. Our house in Iowa was in a hail storm in early August. We moved to Texas later that month and didn't have time to reach out to contractors. Working from Texas on this project I called Joe. He made me feel so comfortable from the very beginning. I could just tell that he was an honest guy and that I could trust him. I had explained that several of our neighbors had landscaping ruined from other companies from shingles thrown from the roof. Our house was on the market and I needed it looking perfect for open houses. Joe texted me pictures throughout the process so that I knew everything that was happening. I can't express my gratitude to Joe and this company. They did an amazing job and I'm so impressed. They were true to the original cost and even came in lower than the original bid once the exact measurements came in. I recommended them to more neighbors who also enjoyed working with them! Thanks so much!!! <br />"

"We could not be happier, the work was done on time, excellent craftsmanship by Luther Haugen (windows and doors), and Kris Jacque (siding), Dwight and Denny and the whole crew were fun to work with. The cleanup was awesome, they took all waste away and picked up the yard. We have cut down our usage of propane by over half, and the house is so nice and quiet now, we live on a blacktop in the country and traffic has increased over the years, but we no longer hear any of it. We have been so happy with their work that we are having them install a new walk in shower right now!"

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in Pleasantville, IA

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
