"Got the last-minute siding maintenance deal.
It was a while ago, but I remember that he rescheduled a couple of times, and then when he did come he was late and seemed irritated. He looked at the house and gave me an astronomical estimate to basically replace all the weatherboards. (I told him I knew they were in kindof rough shape, but I didn't need the whole house to be redone-- I just wanted to see if he could fix a couple of the bad ones.)  It felt like he was totally annoyed and condescending with me because my house wasn't perfect and because I live in a neighborhood that's a little rough. Seemed like he was not exactly used to being called out to an area like my 'hood.  We agreed that he could do some minimal work to at least get the value of the angie's list deal purchase. Weeks went by and nobody never called to follow up. 
Maybe he just had a bad day--everyone has one, and I understand that--but my experience was not a good one. 
I ended up calling Angie's list and they refunded my money for the deal.

"I hired them to put new roof on my rental property in uptown New Orleans and needed it completed within one month (by the end of July 2021). I was concerned it might not get done in time due to the non-relenting daily rainstorms, but we eventually caught a break from the rain and Wade got the job done in two day and came in on time and on budget. I have also looked into having them replace all the old wiring in this old apartment duplex and the person they sent over to give me a quote seemed very knowledgeable on just how to get it done in just a few days and to consolidate electrical boxes and wire runs so that looks better after than it does now. "The representatives of this company were extremely professional, polite, and responsive. The estimate was done very quickly and was completely free. During the insulation work. which was started only a day or two after we came to an agreement on the price, the foreman, who had given us the estimate, stopped by to see how the job was going. The electrician, who came later the same day after the first crew had completed the insulation work, was extremely courteous and helpful. He fixed one issue in the house and diagnosed another (ceiling fan needs to be replaced), letting us know what types of ceiling fans would and would not work and other helpful hints. While there was one miscommunication, the problem was quickly addressed. We really appreciated the communication and courteousness of this company, and we will definitely call them again for various work and repairs around the house. It sounds like there is nothing they cannot / will not do! Highly recommended.

"I have used Acadian on other projects and was afraid this repair job would be too small for them but I was happy to hear they were sending Javier (who has worked on my home before and is awesome) to come repair the ceiling. I was worried the entire ceiling would have to come down but he was able to remove just the area around the crack and replace the sheetrock, patched it and repainted the ceiling. It was a 3 day job and I was expecting to pay nearly double what they charged me so I was happy!"

"I have used Adam Alan before for painting the exterior of my large home and was so satisfied I hired him for some interior work. Each of the rooms had either water marks or pealing paint due to moisture. Each problem area was carefully corrected followed by two coats of paint. His company arrives promptly, covers fixtures and floors, and cleans up. In the case of one bathroom the paint company mixed the wrong color of paint and Alan Adam worked with the paint company to correct their mistake and then repainted the bath for me. He is an expert on paints and paint colors and is a pleasure to work with as his lead painter, Chris."

"The owner of By the Specs Roofing Co. (Mr. Virgil) came out the same day I called and put a Blue Tarp on my roof where the shingles had came loose and fell to the ground. The next day Mr. Virgil sent a roofer to replace (2 squares)of shingles just before heavy rains came later that day. The job was done professionally and I would recommend this company to everyone."
