"<p>We had 3 bids all through Angie's List, one of the companies Granite Outlet II that  we had used before. The other two bids were from Solid Stone Fab. and KAT Fab<br /> <br />Most of the bids were similar, except all of the companies provided different prices for removal, sink cutout, plumbing for rehook-up of sink, and rehooking up stove top.</p> <p>Granite Outlet II had a plumber in-house. Solid Stone had a recommendation for a plumber and KAT didn't provide a recommendation. </p> <p>We kept our backslash and KAT was the only company that had an issue with cutting it down if needed. And it was cut to allow for the quartz. </p> <p>We chose Solid Stone Fabricators because we trusted Claudia to do a good job for us. She was very attuned to our needs and anytime we asked her a question if she didn't already know it she got right back with us. She took good notes and made sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. She was very professional and a pleasure to work with. We went to see the where the countertops were fabricated at Solid Stone and we also went to Cambria Quartz in Carrollton and looked at the Quartz we wanted and received large samples there.</p> <p>They came out and measured and showed up on time, then we scheduled for the install.</p> <p>The installers showed up at their scheduled time and finished in less then 5 hours. The next morning the plumber came and hooked the sink and stove back up. </p> <p>Claudia came out a few days later and bought us our extra quartz. its VERY heavy but we wanted to keep it and they also made us a cutting board.</p> <p>I LOVE MY COUNTERTOPS AND NEW GRANITE SINK!<br /> <br /></p> <br />"

"Dave provided estimate and performed the work as promised. On day one they brought a team of 4 to jump start the job and get the furniture moved. They were on time and worked from 8-6pm. The taped the walls with plastic sheets to protect the paint and baseboards. They were neat, tidy and easy to work with as they restored the stone with a series of machine driven diamond pads. They started with a course sanding and worked up to a fine honing. They put just the amount of shine and luster that we were wanting. They then cleaned and sealed the surface. All furniture was returned and set where we directed. <br /> We are delighted with the work and so are our neighbors who came to see the beautifully restored floors. <br />"

"This is my second time to use Hard Rock Granite & Tile for a counter project and once again they did not disappoint. The first job was for my bathroom counters, and they were fantastic, fro recommendations on the material to use, to the sizes of the sinks to go with - just about every detail they thought of. My second project with them was for my kitchen and washroom counters. This was a larger project and I chose a sun fusion quartzite, which is beautiful material to use on counters. Their expertise for this project was even more apparent, as their team guided me through the template layout process as well as advice on the appropriate size sink to use. The team that did the install did an excellent job and the backsplash work was fantastic as well. Overall I am extremely pleased with the work done on both projects, and frankly if I had any counters left to update I would hire them a third time!"

"Overall everything was great. Craig spoke about the quality of work and the level of experience of his workers so we were expecting a larger bid than we got. They came and took detailed measurements and it took about a week to get the manufacturing of the granite done. The installation was precise and nearly flawless. They placed the seam in a space where it would not be easily noticed and their precision was mind blowing. The guys installing were extremely professional, laid down protective covering on our wood floors, and stayed until nearly 10p.m. on a Friday evening to make sure the job was done and done right. We can not thank Craig and his group enough for the beautiful countertops. As we continue through the renovation of our house there is no reason for us to look any further than New Concepts for any future granite work. Thanks again Craig."

"<p>I had been told the "scratch" could be honed out but it is still plainly visible.  However, it looks MUCH better.  No damage was done to any of the floorboards or neighboring carpet.  The individual doing the work did a great job.  The gouges are nearly invisible and the cracks are barely noticeable.</p> <p>The cost is very expensive.  To simply buff your four floors (one is upstairs) would cost us $475 because it would take less than three  hours to buff.  Still, there are not that many companies doing this work and they have favorable reviews.</p> <p>The B for quality is because I was led to believe the scratch could be removed.  The C for price is because $150 per hour is a tad expensive.  So, while I will use their services again it won't be on an annual basis.</p> <br />"

"Asked for quote on Thursday, was visited for measurements on Friday, slab was picked on Monday and countertops were installed on Wednesday. Very professional, clean work. All details were explained, so I was able to make educated decisions. Highly recommended!"

"Mitch is very punctual, always texting that he was on his way, and then texting when he was leaving, assuring that the house was all locked up. He cleaned all of the grout on the floor, replaced grout where needed, and then restored/polished the travertine to a beautiful, glossy finish. He then completed the job by applying sealer. Our floors look better than when they were first installed. Just beautiful work, and Mitch is a perfectionist! We will definitely hire Mitch again! <br />"
