"Debbie contacted me immediately in May when I purchased a $149 for 4 hours of wood rot repair.   The weather was a major factor in the delay of the work being completed.  2 men came out and repaired a large hole in the fascia and other wood that had rotted.  They were quick, professional and cleaned as they worked. They went above and beyond in their work.   My only concern was the delay in communication of when the company would be out to do the repairs.   I emailed her thru the Angie web site, with no response.   I called her and she told me the weather was placing them behind in other jobs.  Then she called me two hours before the men came out to do the repairs.     I would use their services again.  I have Debbie's cell phone number and this is the easiest way to contact her. <br />"

"I had several small home repairs done by this company including some drywall repair/painting, plumbing fixtures, and several minor electrical repairs. The work performed was high quality and the price was more than fair"

"Steve responded to my call for an estimate very quickly, and arrived when he said he would. He was very nice and courteous. We discussed various projects I needed done around the home. He said he would send me an estimate, which he did a few days later. The estimate was very confusing, and had some obvious errors regarding the scope of work and price. Some items were also very high ($125 to remove 12' of gutter that took me all of 3 minutes and a screw gun to do myself). I emailed for clarification, and Steve did promptly send back a new quote, but the new quote was almost as confusing as the old one. I also emailed for a quote regarding some carpentry work under the house, and send pictures to outline what needed to be done. I never received a response on it. Ended up going with someone more reasonably priced, but Steve was very courteous and seemed knowledgeable. <br />"

"Bob & Brian did a great job on both bathrooms. Very knowledgeable, reasonable pricing, very helpful, answers phone calls and texts in a timely manner. They made great suggestions to help me with both bathrooms. Old house - uneven walls - seems like there is no job too small or too big for them- I will be using them again for a kitchen upgrade !!! They are great to work with!!! The picture below is the most recent remodel. Before and after pic of the shower!"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Port Allen, LA

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
