He gave our house a total facelift and listened to all of our concerns as well as gave advice for how to make things look better, without overcharging us. It was a fair price for work well done, the crew was courteous and hardworking, and they cleaned up after themselves. "Every home owner eventually needs (or will need) a new roof. Expense is one of the driving factors that usually determines the vendor BUT a more economical long range decision should be made based on quality. Quality of product, installation and service are essential components of this decision. This is why we chose to go with Power for our new roof and gutters. EVERY interaction with each employee was customer-centric. They patiently listened to our requirements and concerns and then offered effective solutions during and throughout the entire process. (The warranty was also the best available.) Power is a large company with multiple locations across the country, ours was headquartered in Maryland but the work was completed in Virginia. This geographic distance did not adversely effect the outcome. From the initial salesperson (who took the gutsy risk of letting me visit and talk with two neighborhood customers while he waited outside before signing our contract) through the schedulers, work execution and Quality Control final inspection we were well pleased. The work started on time and was completed on time. Numerous personal phone calls and visits by the Power inspectors provided us with the comforting conclusion that we made the correct choice for a truly professional contractor. (The ONLY minor problem for the ENTIRE process was an oil stain from their air compressor on one of our paving blocks.) With our 50 year labor and product warranty I doubt we will need to redo our roof in our lifetime BUT if we move we would definitely chose Power again! Check the Better Business Bureau reviews and complaints and you will easily see that Power is a responsive and reasonable company to work with. Need a new roof? Power is your answer! Note that our project included house (2050 sq ft) replacement of all substandard 3/4” roof decking with code 7/16” decking (2080 sq ft) and also included reroofing of standalone shed (100 sq ft) minus decking replacement/gutters."

The roof needed a full replacement, including all new plywood since the existing wood was completely worn out, and everything was handled thoroughly and professionally. He also rebuilt our deck from the ground up using Trex decking because the base of the previous wood deck had rotted out. The transformation is incredible. "Luis performed multiple projects including patching and painting damaged drywall, painting base of outdoor deck, placing saddles in a number of doorways, repairing damaged concrete floor and installing wood flooring, and adjusting the closing mechanism on a glass door by adjusting the hinges. His workmanship was excellent and he was very knowledgeable about all the details needed to accomplish a good result. I will be hiring him for all future house projects. I highly recommend him."

"It went well. There were no problems. Disposal of old door and clean up after installation were great. They didn't have to re-do as much of the adjacent siding (that they had installed previously) as anticipated, and as a result lowered the cost from their upfront estimate. This was at least 2 or 3 years ago, so I don't recall dates or cost."

We hired Remodeling Concepts to help us solve the problem of our front foundation cinder block wall that was bowing, crumbling, and allowing water to slowly seep into our basement. Derek spent a lot of time with us assessing the different aspects of the problem, and made a second appointment with an engineer to make sure we were addressing the issue completely.
