He connected the automatic transfer switch and fully tested the system upon completion of the install. He has it set to run a test for 10 minutes once a week. "John and his staff came the next day and analyzed possible source of problem. After a thorough check he told us what source of problem could be but understandably, no guarantees. He didn't try and upsell us on any unneeded stuff like others in years past try to do (plumbing, electric, mechanic, etc). Thorough, prompt, professional and corrected problem (fingers crossed it will remain fixed)! My experience is that many, with high number of reviews (all categories) are often offering promotiions which are not a bargain when they "find" other problems requiring more work then needed and/or anticipated. Highly recommend."

He made a sound recording and video documenting the problem and sent it to the generator company enabling us to receive new parts under the warranty. Mr. Byrne then installed those parts and fixed the generator. We have since used New Grange for all our electrical needs."

"Came to my house the same day and completed the job. Mike the electrician was a nice guy and did a good job. $200 the first hour and $100 each additional hour. Changed existing ceiling fan, switches and outlets. I already had the parts, took 3+ hours, cost almost $500 with tax. Not sure if this is standard. I called them after another electrician who was supposed to come that day canceled."

"Jackie was great at scheduling at a moments notice. I was told that the tech would be coming between 11-1 pm. I received several calls from Brian pushing off the arrival time over 2 hours which threw my other technicians off schedule which who working around his schedule. He said he was in route and showed up over an hour later. I would have appreciated some honesty in the arrival time which was crucial. Although he did a nice job, he was on his phone receiving and responding to at least 3 calls for other jobs while he was working at my home. He actually stepped into my bathroom and was talking on the phone during my installation, weird. I understand that you may have to meet the needs of other customers, but please complete the job you are on before you take these calls and delay the job you are trying to complete. Would I use Duffy Electric again, yes, however I would expect better transparency with arrival and service times which would have been helpful."
