"l  wanted a high quality dishwasher to replace an 21 year old unit that was built into custom cabinets.  There were no models that I liked, that would allow me to purchase a new custom panel for the front of the new dishwasher.  I decided to go with their recommendation for high quality white dishwasher, since it matched some other appliances.  I did though, want a VERY quiet model.  I decided to buy their recommended model and they matched the price I had found on the internet.  They ordered the unit, and came today, during a bad snow storm to install the the unit and remove the old one.  Their intaller called me before coming, and came right on time.  He was the BEST installer I've ever experienced and did an OUTSTANDING job!!!
Overall, my experience from sales through installation, was the BEST I've ever had concerning appliances.
I whole heartedly Recommend NASON'S!!!!

"The Pro did an exceptional job! - Installed new lighting and multiple towel racks in the bathrooms; - changed out the locks to multiple doors in my home; - will be hiring him to do a larger project involving remodeling the garage. I have also recommended him to friends and other family members. They have all given him high praises on his professionalism, the quality of his work, in addition to fair market pricing. He has done work on their appliances (refrigerators, stoves, etc.). Great customer service!!"

"jay arrived as promised & scheduled to diagnose/repair my refrigerator. his diagnosis indicated a recommendation to replace the unit rather than repair. i accepted the advice, so there was no actual repair work for me to evaluate. i appreciated the honest appraisal."

"Went well. Technicians need to be trained to perform safety procedures for appliances maintenance checks. Making sure appliances being worked on are properly functioning and safe to use for customer. The customer should not be telling or begging technicians to perform safety checks on appliances. More training is needed please. Thank you for your service."

FAQs for appliance (major electric appliance) installation and replacement projects in Portage, IN

A pro starts by setting the units in place and connecting them to the right plumbing lines, electrical circuits, and, for the dryer, a vent. If the hookups already exist, the job is quick. When they don’t, the installer must add plumbing, outlets, or a vent run, which takes more time and increases the price, especially when the laundry area is located far from existing utilities.

You’ll need the right pros for a tight stacked setup. A natural-gas plumber handles the water lines, drain, and any gas work, while an electrician installs the circuit the dryer needs. If venting or framing changes are required, hire a general contractor to patch the drywall or adjust the framing so that everything meets code and operates safely.

Permanent models need complete plumbing, electrical, and—for dryers—vent hookups. Portable units skip most of that and can run on a standard outlet with a temporary water connection. If your home already has a code-approved hookup, you just connect the new appliances. If not, hire a licensed pro to add the lines and vent so the machines run safely and efficiently.

Relocating a hookup costs between $500 and $5,000, as it may involve installing new outlets, gas lines, vents, and drain pipes. The price increases when the new location is far from existing utilities or requires additional framing and drywall work. Have licensed professionals evaluate your layout, provide a quote for the move, and handle the installation so that every component meets code and works safely.
