"I had contacted several places that I had used over the years that could maybe help....all were swamped or didn't get back with me. I took to Angie's List and had a delightful experience at Roofs and More with the clerical staff that took my phone call. She called back in a timely manner and told me that Jake would be out to repair or assess based on what he found within 24 hours. 
 On Tuesday, Jake showed up, and quickly and efficiently assessed and repaired the hole in the barn roof. With that, he pointed out some weaknesses in the 40 year old pole barn roof and made some suggestions. His repair was very reasonable and well worth no snow scene in the barn :)  .  
Took him up on the replacement and repair of the other 3 large skylight panels in the roof which currently have brittle and yellowed fiberglass panels that will be the next victims of bad weather. Strong explanation as to why I might want to consider the upgrade to snug up the barn roof and replace the skylight panels as well as paint the steel roof which is aged to be void of any paint. Reasonable price and good on the spot estimate. Yes, yes, yes.
Really impressed with Jake and his company. Gave him my list of "extra" things like paint the barn (as we were now going to paint the roof)  and he said he'd get back with me after working up some numbers. 
Like this guy, like his business model, and he just may have earned my complete loyality as we progress beyond just the "roof".

"We didn't have anything to rip or tear down except for the old stairs. Ryan and his crew were building us a new staircase to join our old deck to our new deck. It was somewhat tricky because the new deck is on a sloping rocky hill- and the old deck was designed in the shape of the bay windows on the house facing the lakeside. Our deck sets up high off the ground. 15 ft (where the old deck is and maybe 4 ft where the new deck is) Ryan tightened down and repaired our old deck too. It was loose in one area. He made it sturdy and put some new wood up. He also found a new place for our flag post and put that in for us too.. We now have about 1000 sq ft of A STUNNING DECK overlooking our Beautiful Lake Our neighbors comment how great it looks. I told Ryan to drop a business sign in the front yard ( lake side) So boaters can get his information if they want a deck built. Ryan is a TRUE PROFESSIONAL a HARD WORKER, METICULOUS, PERFECTIONIST, and HONEST. If you want someone whose good call the other guy. If you want someone whose Great, still call the other guy. But if you want the BEST, call Ryan Swan. "I own a 13 year old home, and my roof issues began in Fall 2019 when I began to notice several leaks. I began to call local roofers, and had several come out, the leaks were repaired, but all of them suggested that my roof needed to be replaced and was nearing it’s useful life. When Spring 2020 rolled around, I began to search for a company that could replace my roof. While conducting my research, a friend referred me to a local home inspector to obtain his opinion on my roof (replace vs additional repairs). This inspector suggested I contact Dennison Exterior Solutions as they had a great reputation in the area, and he personally had good things to say about them. At about the same time, I began to research my options for a warranty claim on my shingles as they had been shedding granules since I moved into the house. When I began to look around on the Certainteed web site, I noticed that Dennison was listed as the top contractor in my area, so that reassured me I was on the right track. Early one morning, I called the office number for Dennison and left a voicemail message. At the end of the message, it provided an email address to contact Scott Dennison (Owner). I left a voicemail message and immediately sent an email to Scott. Literally within minutes of me sending Scott the email, I received a response from him. We exchanged a few emails and he advised that he would have his office contact me to schedule a visit/inspection. Later that day, Amy contacted me to arrange a visit. The initial visit was set up and as the appointment approached, I received a phone text message reminding me of the visit and asking me to acknowledge the appointment.
