"Our deck caught fire last summer and we contracted Chris Heinz to do the rebuilding and replacement of our fire-damaged exterior. Chris was wonderful to work with! He worked with our insurance company tirelessly and also kept us informed every step of the way. He and his crew removed our old deck and siding, and built a new deck, a landing and stairs off our kitchen, installed a new sliding door and four windows, replaced our siding and trim, and installed new outdoor lighting. There were a few delays due to the pandemic and materials being readily unavailable from one of the manufacturers, but the timeframe was reasonable given the circumstances. Chris and his crew did an amazing job and we couldn’t be happier. We love our beautiful new deck and the new siding and trim. We get so many compliments from our neighbors and passers-by! We will definitely go to Chris next time we need work on our house and recommend him to everyone!"

"We would like to say thank you to KBA Kitchen & Bath Design & Build for a great job remodeling our two upstairs bathrooms. The two bathrooms were completely renovated in 5 weeks, but it could have been finished even sooner if we hadn’t selected a premium option for our shower glass enclosure. The entire project was started and finished between January 21, 2025 until February 28, 2025, which included the crew working two Saturdays, which shows their dedication in getting the job done. We were very impressed with KBA over the entire project! Specifically, we were impressed at how smooth and efficient the entire process was. It was seamless – from the initial consultation to the execution of the job. The designer, Anna, was very thorough and helpful in sketching the designs of new bathrooms and offering advice on recommended materials for the bathroom, to include going above and beyond in helping us choose just the right paint colors to perfectly blend with our newly installed bathroom accessories. Anna and Ervin both made after hour visits to provide their insight on color schemes and where bathroom accessories should be installed and look best. The lead project manager, Ervin, was always there to answer our questions, and he went out of his way to always ensure we were happy customers! Ervin also visited on many occasions to give us updates on project progress and keeping his crew updated on any changes. The installation team always showed up on time, left the work area clean, and went above and beyond to make our design a reality. Anna, Ervin and the crew were always very friendly, professional, and helpful throughout this project. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome as we absolutely love our bathrooms! "After consulting with several companies, I decided to hire ESM Construction LLC for the remodeling of my one-bedroom condo. Their pricing was competitive, and Edgar displayed a wealth of knowledge. He was also exceptionally responsive, addressing all my questions promptly. The crew arrived on schedule, and they were both friendly and professional. They completely transformed the condo, installing brand new flooring, ceilings, paint, a bathroom, kitchen, and appliances. I never felt rushed, and every aspect of the project was completed in a timely manner. Edgar and his team were attentive and patient, never once saying, "No, we won't do that!" Finding honest and reliable contractors can be challenging these days. We interviewed several contractors with five-star ratings, but many seemed overpriced, like quoting $5K for cabinets that only cost $3K depending on kitchen size. Some of the five-star contractors even came off as somewhat arrogant due to their reviews, which raised concerns about potential issues. If you spot even one negative review, take it seriously; we’ve paid a steep price for ignoring such warnings in the past. Edgar's team even rectified mistakes made by previous contractors. From the moment we spoke with Edgar, we recognized his down-to-earth demeanor and extensive expertise in his field. We are thoroughly satisfied with our decision to go with ESM Construction LLC and wholeheartedly recommend this company."

"Terrible experience. We contracted with Prime Custom (Kamil) to do a full bathroom and kitchen remodel in 2021 and we have had tons of issues. Their license # 2705166476 that they were operating under has been REVOKED as of May 2024. You can check this for yourself by going to the Virginia state website [*** Link removed ***] and entering the License # 2705166476. Yes, the name on the VA state website is different but they were operating externally as Prime Custom. As proof, I have attached a picture of the contract which shows the above License # , and Prime Custom's name. They are now operating under a different license # 2705173804 which I find highly unethical. I have already filed a complaint with the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation and they will investigate if any laws were broken. Before considering doing business with Prime Custom, or any other contractor, please ensure that you look up their license number on the above Virginia State website. Summary of my experience: - Bathroom: The shower has developed a major leak which is going through the bathroom floor into the lower level. See pictures. I am contracting with another company to fix, which is going to cost thousands of dollars. Kitchen - It failed gas and safety inspections multiple times. To this day, I am concerned about the structural integrity of the load bearing wall in the kitchen and am contracting with another company to fix. Hopefully, this review can save others from the extremely frustrating experience that I have gone through."

"STAY AWAY!!!! This Company cancelled the initial estimate on me 3 times making me drive 90 minutes to the property each time. They finally showed and gave me the typical hard sell "if you sign the contract today..." They gave us a quote so far over market value we should have walked away. But we agreed because of the "70 year history in the industry" We thought we were buying a service from a company with integrity. They took an immediate $18K deposit on a $55K project. I know, shame on me for agreeing to such an amount. We knew we were over spending, but... One month later, they simply cancelled the contract without explanation and without any work on the project. This contract was binding on us but, in their words, was not binding on them because "there's a clause in the fine print that allows them to cancel" THEY STILL HAVE OUR MONEY and I STILL NEED A ROOF Stay away from this company. No integrity No responsibility Unreliable Over priced Will take your money and keep it"
