I told them I had an upcoming surgery scheduled so the timing was critical. I had just gone to Costco and loaded my freezer with over $300 in frozen food and that was going to melt down. The owner of Target Electric offered to let me put my food in his church/community centers freezers. I used my own church's freezers. Who does that? "Contacted the vendor through the listing.  Had a time constraint and needed to get the worked done by the end of the year.  Vendor was extremely flexible and worked with me to get the installation scheduled to meet my needs.  Vendor even had a special on labor which they happily allowed me to use.  Electrician arrived on time and seemed professional but also seemed a bit new.  We discussed how I wanted the new wires run through the garage and judging from his responses I thought he understood what I wanted.  I left him to his work and went back into the house to take care of some things.  When I checked on him about an hour later he had run the wires across the bottom of the rafters rather than the path I had discussed.  As nicely as I could I explained that this was not what I wanted and he began to explain that he didn't have enough wire at that point to change the path and didn't seem to see what the problem was.  I explained that I could have done the quality of installation he did and that was why I hired an electrician to do it right.  At that point I started to get some attitude and decided I would let him complete the job and call the office after he left to share my concerns.  I talked with the office and they agreed to send him out again to correct the issue.  The same electrician came out a few days later to correct the problem.  Same guy, same lack of understanding, same quality of work.  .  He made some minor modifications but it was not the installation I wanted or expected from this highly rated vendor.  At this point I had other more pressing issues to attend to and just gave up.
Here is the thing.  I understand that this was a rush job.  I understand the vendor was doing his best to accommodate my needs.  for these things I applaud them.  What they didn't do is provide the quality they where known for and failed to listen to what I wanted even after explaining several time to the electrician doing the work and the office.  In this situation it's all about me.  If what I want is not what we discussed or what you quoted, tell me and let's discuss revised pricing.  Unless there is a good reason not to,  do what I want, the way I want it.  It's that simple.

"I bought two Toto washlets (bidet toilet seats) to be used in the two bathrooms upstairs. None of the bathroom had a GFCI outlet to provide power for the washlet on top of the toilet. Mehran came 15 minutes ahead of the scheduled time and started to seal the working area with plastic sheets. He removed an old phone jack outlet and used its space to install a switch for the GFCI outlet in the master bathroom. The GFCI outlet was installed nicely near the toilet. We can turn the switch on before we use the washlet and turn the switch off to save power when we are not at home. Mehran replaced the single light switch panel with a 2-switch panel in the guest bathroom. One switch controls the light and the other one controls the GFCI outlet. Both the switch panel and GFCI outlet were installed nicely. Mehran also reconfigured two switches to provide power to two yard floor lights separately. Mehran kept his work area very clean during his work and after his work. He was very polite and friendly. My wife and I were very pleased with Mehran's excellent work. We will hire him for all our future electric jobs. We recommend Mehran highly."

"We did a total remodel of my husband's family home.   It took over six months.  Our next door neighbor is Andre Johnson who is starting up his own solar panel installation out of his home.  He has been in the business for  years, but felt now was the time for him to start his own business.  After we moved in, we talked to him about solar installation...we got some other bids, but his was still the best.  He and his son did the installation, then we called the city for the inspector to come out.
This is why I am writing this review.  With the total remodel, we had a lot of city inspections, and we knew how particular they are.  The inspector came out, went up on the roof for 10 or 15 minutes.  Then he told Andre he wanted to talk to us.  We thought...this can't be good.  On the contrary....the inspector wanted us to know what an outstanding job they did.  In fact, he said he had never seen such a perfect job.  He had been to two other homes for solar installation inspection prior to ours, and neither one of them passed.  He said they were done by well known, large local companies.  He said the larger companies sub-contract out the work, so you don't get the pride of ownership kind of work that we got.
Andre has five different licenses on his business card.  I did check his CA license....#958114...and he is in good standing with the state of California.  One of the other licenses was his federal contracting license, and another one was with the State of California as a disabled vet.
If you are looking for any kind of solar panel installation, PLEASE call Andre for a bid.  I really don't think you can find a better price, and I know you won't get a better job.
