"We have used Mark since 2012. We have always received excellent service and we are continuing to do business with him long term. In addition to routine AC system maintenance, Mark replaced one of our AC units that had failed in 2013. We highly recommend him."

"We used Absolute for the first time to address a termite infested home. Not only was the infestation serious, but the logistics of the job were complicated and inconvenient. Other vendors would have left us with disappointing results.....but Tony at Absolute were absolute Pros! They handled the difficult logistics with decorum and finesse. Pair that with their knowledge of termite eradication, they will be our go-to exterminators for the Lakeland area. Tony's exemplary work ethic is hard to find these days - so when you find someone willing to work, work hard and work correctly....you don't let them get away. Tony, thank you for everything you are handling for us. It's truly appreciated."

"I’ve had Arrow for almost a year and have only seen a tech once. Yet I’m still being charged quarterly. I spoke with someone who assured me that a tech would come out on Friday and when I called back to make sure they were still coming I was informed that the appointment was moved back 2 more weeks. Meanwhile I find termites around the inside perimeter of my home and still nothing. I will be calling for a refund of all my funds. If I could give zero stars I would."

"Vic was prompt (early actually) and thorough with his inspection. There was an issue with the heating and air, and although it wasn't his job, he took the time to help the hvac guy (whom we were able to get to the house during the inspection, fortunately) to add his expertise to troubleshoot and find the solution. Problem solved, avoiding delays and unnecessary negotiations. He found everything of concern, and explained things in a down to earth, solution-oriented manner, rather than leaving us (as other inspectors have) with more questions than answers. We walked away understanding the condition of the property, and had solid information to talk with the seller about to negotiate the needed repairs."

FAQs for toxicity and mold removal projects in Prairieville, LA

Remediation should keep mold from returning as long as the moisture source is eliminated. Fix leaks, control humidity, and replace water-damaged materials, then schedule periodic inspections to stay ahead of new growth. With those safeguards, your home can stay mold-free for the long haul while protecting both health and property value.

Most pros recommend leaving the home while they work on mold remediation. Removing mold stirs up airborne spores that can aggravate respiratory issues, and contractors can work more efficiently in an empty space. A short, temporary relocation keeps everyone in your family safe and lets the crew finish the job without interruption.

Mold shouldn’t return once the moisture problem is fixed. Stay vigilant: repair leaks right away, keep humidity below 50 percent with a dehumidifier placed in damp areas, and improve ventilation where needed. Routine checks for leaks and mold and quick repairs go a long way toward keeping your home mold-free.

Mold spores can trigger nasal congestion, throat irritation, coughing, wheezing, eye irritation, or skin rashes. People with asthma, allergies, or weakened immune systems often feel the effects sooner and more intensely. Some molds also release mycotoxins linked to serious respiratory or neurological issues. Swift remediation and better ventilation are the best defenses.
