"I noticed a woodpecker making a hole high up on the side of my house and contacted several contractors about fixing it. I told them it would require a 32’ ladder and only two were interested in the work. Ronaldo from Everlast came out the next day and gave me a reasonable estimate ($350) to replace the siding and flashing, caulk, and paint the area. His crew came the next morning and both the gentlemen were polite and very good workers. While there we discovered some siding that had started deteriorating over the years and they took photos of the area, Ronaldo gave me a bid on it, and they came out promptly on the following day (a Saturday) and repaired that area as well. I would definitely recommend Everlast: they respond quickly, know what to do, and work very hard to get the job done quickly and correctly. I will call them again if I need something else repaired! "I will call this “The Good, The Bad and the Ugly review” as I am breaking this review into the 3 teams that we had – 2 very good and done quickly and 1 inferior with the most time spent at our house – thus the overall 3 star grade. The Good • Roofing Team – Grade: A. Efficient, good job, found virtually no nails or roofing materials on the ground • Gutters – Grade: A. One man crew but he knew what he was doing and provided good suggestions for modifying our water flow. The Bad • Siding & Window Team – Grade: C to D. Not sure how they were trained but they didn’t seem to understand some common construction basics. A few of the many examples – o They nailed the siding on wrong and had to start over. o They almost ripped the 120V electrical outlet off the house without turning off the breaker but it was the weekend and we happened to be in the garden and saw them. o Installed the dryer vent wrong twice – once painting it shut and the next time putting on a vent with a label on it saying “not for use with clothes dryers” due to the pre-installed screen. The Ugly • Siding & Window Team – Used caulk as touch up paint on LP Smartside (or just used the siding to clean off their dirty fingers?) – leaving random “chicken pox marks” all over new siding. Garage, driveway and all 4 sides of our house were filled with equipment and garbage for the length of the project. Not the crew to have if you have children or pets – they left old saw blades and other sharp objects around the garage entrance and the house. I didn’t expect a spotless home every night but I didn’t expect to be living with this much disarray with minimal clean up each night, even after asking the supervisor to improve pickup of at least garbage and sharp objects in the garage and the common walking paths. Nor did we expect to be spending our fall cleaning caulk off the “maintenance free” siding and re-painting it and installing our outside boxes correctly. I will give the owner credit for realizing that his siding and window crew did inferior work and giving us a discount on our bill. None-the-less, I am rating the services provided based on the quality of the work done."

"Patrick from TRS stopped by in our neighborhood after we received hail damage to our siding. I would normally be hesitant to speak to someone going house to house but he was very friendly and polite. And in the end, I was looking for someone to do the work and didn't know where to start looking (this was before Angie's List). Because this was an insurance claim, I can't speak to price other than they worked within the guidelines and estimates dictated by my insurance company. Patrick was my primary contact and overall did a very good job. Very professional and was easy to contact during the process - which was long due to siding match searches. Their crew did a good job with the installation and once we were given the go-ahead from our insurance company, they finished it in a relatively acceptable time period. They were not satisfied until we were satisfied so in the end we were happy and we would recommend TRS. <br />"

"This was a small job requiring the installation of steel siding on the north and east sides of the house. The bid came in 40% lower than another contractor that responded from Angie's List. Work started in two weeks and was completed in two days. Had a minor problem with the doorbell constantly buzzing which was caused by a short in the nearly 70 year old cloth covered doorbell wire. It took me all of about 5 minutes to fix. What is important is that work was completed in a timely manner with outstanding workmanship."

"Matt was excellent throughout the process. He kept me informed. He brought in the sub-contractors as needed. He checked the work frequently and made adjustments where or if needed. I referred Matt to friends because I was very happy with his oversight and reliability."

"Valerie the siding need help the siding was missing in some spots the bathroom has a leak or to needs new tub. Valerie was wonderfully and true with me from start to finish "

"All went well with the roofing and I would give an A rating for the roof. C or B rating for siding. It looks good but the sub-contractor used didn't pay much attention to detail and was a know it all so Walker had to have him come back a few times and fix things. Each time siding guy came back he only did a few of the things I had mentioned but didn't complete all. Eventually Walker finished all. I would hire again especially for the roof but would ask for a different sub-contractor for the siding. Gutters work turned out good. The Salesman and Job Foreman were excellent to work with. In this day and age its hard to find a good price, quality, and reliability all in one company and Walker did as good as any other company would have I believe and I have had experience with other companies and also being in the trades myself."
